Bad WiFi

App issues all day . Not able to access the devices. Trying to get to my sons devices to turn on so he can do online school. I turn off his devices every night. I do not have an outage.

Xfinity customer for two years. Loss of wifi eight - ten times a year. 39% price increase after first year. Unresponsive and irresponsible customer service. Everything you don't want from an internet service provider.

For about a constant year the internet service has really been awful….terrible if you work from home and can’t get continual internet service. They constantly have outages so they say and they’re always working to fix it so they say as well. But they never give you credit for the times you’re without service!! Just awful service ?

Your customer service is lacking in so many ways. It took two days of not having the internet to try to talk to a real person. The recorded voice kept taking me in circles. FINALY, on the third day, I just went to a store and they said I needed a new modem. I knew that because four months ago when I was having similar problems the tech found some problems outside and told me they would mail me a new modem. Never was delivered. There was a major problem with my billing which a nice agent at the store, cleared up for me (been going on since the November bill). I know I signed up for a two year period but if things don’t get better I will not sign up again. Thank goodness my phone has 5G or I would not have had any way to communicate. Comcast, you can do better than this! Even trying to send this review is not simple. I don’t want a nickname and every negative word I can think of has been taken. Another sign of poor service.

I have a couple Roku Expresses that only connect to 2.4ghz bandwidth. With the Xfinity app (& the guidance of online forums) I was able to assign different names to my 2.4 & 5ghz channels so stupid Roku would quit dropping its WiFi connection. I’m not a real techy kind of person either. I love having this kind of control over my internet. A lot of reviewers are using this format to complain about Xfinity itself. Yes, they’re a greedy corporation that outsources jobs that they should keep in the US & they charge a fortune for a service that has very little overhead cost. But this is about the APP. Not Xfinity’s moral or economic bearings. And it’s a good app, so 5 stars.
