Easy to use

New update - Now months later and still no help from Comcast. For some reason they are stuck on "restart your modem". When it worked it was nice, now it is nothing but false advertising. Developers said they wanted to talk to me, but when I called was not transferred to them, just stuck on step one. Avoid this app at all cost!!! Purchase a different system if you are not familiar with modems. **** updated Had to swap out my modem. Lost all control on the xfi. Have spoken to support but because they continue to fail to make notes we are always just resetting the box. No matter how many times I tell the this has already been done. Due to the total failure of Comcast I can only recommend going with a different company. Will be looking into Disney's control next. ****** Yes for people that have a good knowledge you can do all of this in a router, but for the people that do not this is a great tool. Only have a couple of things I would like to see added; One - fingerprint or simple password protection. This will prevent kids from using parents devices to unlock their own. Two - default all new items to guest and place high restrictions on it. Otherwise this is a great app and easy for everyone to use.

I just this moment was able to allow my son to use the WiFi once he put his clothes away and put the dishes away. And I’m at work Sometimes the startup of the app is a little flaky. -1 star for that. Otherwise easy to use and very powerful

Good start, but could use improved customization.

I like the idea of actively managing WiFi usage in my home (especially with two teenage daughters). That said, the activity settings could allow for better customization. The “lever” system defaults to sleep and wake modes. However, I’d rather set a two to three hour range that they can use. Can’t do that as the app is configured today. Thanks for listening!
