Not bad. Has so far connected to all my boxes. Wish I could pair devices with it like I would the actual remote. Volume control is absolutely a must! Need it please Xfinity

This is addressed to the Xfinity remote app designers. I’ve just wasted hours of everyone’s time because without warning, after years of the app working one way, you decided to reassign the names of my boxes. You did reclaim remote recording. yay. I couldn’t delete the obsolete name of the set box nor remove it as the default box. You renamed the operating auxiliary box with the name of the defunct box, again, without warning, causing no end of confusion. I can’t blame Xfinity for this one, but I do blame you.
Remote screwed up my TV

My Remote does not work 90% of the time. It takes forever to register the channel, then the screen freezes for several minutes at a time making me miss the beginning of my shows and games! So frustrating. I get error messages telling me that they are having errors or their (Xfinity’s) end and to try again later or to navigate away from the channel and try to come back to it. This has been happening several times nearly every day over the past week. Even the voice selection function using my physical remote does not work. I get locked on an in between screen or the guide page and cannot access the show I want. It’s terrible! I’m gettyready to dump Xfinity!

It no longer works to change channels or access a show. All that it does is give me the tv listings. Would really wish the folks at comcast would stop counting all the money they make for a few minutes and fix their product and app. Don’t bother troubleshooting via live chat. All that does is send you to a bot that just sends you in circles. How about a live person?

Important, frequently used functions are missing, so it doesn’t come close to replacing the Xfinity remote: • Powers • Volume up/down • Muting • Channel up/down

My wife got mad at me and stole the remote so I couldn’t watch football. The app let me change channels without her even knowing! Thanks Xfinity!

App works well. I am able to switch channels on any of my boxes from the app. Only issue I’m having is removing old devices that I no longer have in my home. I have 7 legacy “devices” in the app but only need 3.

It no longer shows what I’ve recorded, nor what is scheduled to record. And I pay an enormous price for your triple-play, yet my DVR no longer shows listings nor future recordings. And I don’t want your X1 DVR!
