The app now has an annoying habit of crashing once or twice each time I try to use it. After that, OK. I still use it, but this is not good. FIX IT !!! UPDATE: Now crashes every time I try to use! Will shelve it until Comcast responds by FIXING IT !!! UPDATE: NOW, Comcast has decided to remove the ability to set a recording with the app !! Unbelievable !! It is now officially useless...! If I could give it ZERO stars I would. UPDATE: STILL no ability to record or set a recording from the app !! This has just rendered this app useless in my book.

Works ok but they eliminated the ability to set a DVR recording which was one of the most useful features.

I think this app worked once or twice. The best feature is setting a recording on your mobile when you are away from the house. I tried that today, and the app says I have no devices set up in the app. Now, one would think there would be a “+” button to add a device in the app, but that is not the case. So I called xfinity support and the lady told me to delete the app and download again from the App Store. Then she told Me to sign in and out. Alas, she had no idea how to fix my problem. Note to xfinity: real people are trying to use your app. Try making it a bit more intuitive.

TERRIBLE app. The ONE most important feature of this app should be the ability to set/manage recordings while away from home. The app and Xfinity tv service falls to the bottom of useful tv providers.

Doesn’t Work Anymore

Used for a few years. Worked until this week but no longer recognizes either one of my tv’s. Recycled equipment, uninstalled and reinstalled app. I have X1. What happened I don’t know. Won’t work on my iPad or any of my iPhones. Bah.

Bring back the ability to set recordings

Hey Comcast XFinity. Please bring back the ability to remotely set recordings from the app. Miss this so much!!! It makes having a remote app worthless if you can’t set recordings! Thanks.

Nice upon a time

The nice updated n a time this app actually provided some useful features but over the 1-2 years this app has become nothing but a disappointment. I do not know if this is because Comcast cannot attract qualified software engineers or intelligent sales and product management people but either way I am seriously questioning my long term relationship with a company with such mediocre people working for it.
