The app is not reliable. It works when it wants too. When it does want to work there’s always a delay with your phone calls. It’s not even worth downloading, it’s useless
This issue has been happening for the past several months and I have called their customer service multiple times. They tell me it has been elevated to the Comcast security team but still no resolution. Soooo frustrating. I have had to delete and reinstall my Xfinity connect app on my iPhone every time I want to open an email notification, because my emails do not show up. It freezes. There is a glitch with the XFinity Connect App phone program.
It takes multiple cycles of opening the app and it crashing before I can view the emails and then more crashes if I want to actually read the messages. This app drives me crazy especially since xfinity is supposed to be a technology company.
I’ve been trying to connect my phone to this app so I can make incoming outgoing calls. It’s been several months and I’ve still been getting the same error. No help with Comcast. Just not worth my time.
Since the recent updates, neither this app, nor the "Xfinity" app work at all. Opening the apps brings up a screen which has a link "Get Started". The link is apparently broken, since it called up a blank white page and despite numerous tries over two days was unable to connect to whatever website it was seeking. The site was "OAuth..." ( that was all it displayed in the URL). Since it doesn't connect, you can't do anything but close it. Frustrating, because I rely on the app to get voice messages on my Comcast landline phone line. The various Xfinity apps have never worked really well, but not working at all is ridiculous. Wish I could have left zero stars.
This app works sporadically and often times stalls out and does not load the contents of emails. It’s frustrating to constantly open and close out only to have the same issues. The app does not refresh itself well. Definitely needs to fix some glitches. I though it was due to an older version iPhone but sadly that is not the case. Still having issues even with the newest model.
Every so often the screen freezes and I have to delete the app and then I need to add it back to get it to work on my 6s.Also,folder will sometimes not update content even though app says it is up to date.
