A mess

I use the app for quick check of email. What used to take a single tap now takes several. Ex: after reading an email to delete it means I have to hit “action” and the “delete” instead of just a simple delete. There is no way I have found to find “sent emails.” I tried to send a group email and once I brought up the group in the contact list there was no way to compose an email. In fact I lost the group contact information in something called “already sent group email” or something like that but I could never find it to retrieve it. To view images of the products in Groupon emails it sends me to the Groupon wed site. For other emails you have to tap to view images . I know some will like that feature but I don’t. I just don’t want to work so hard to do a quick scan through emails and ads. I want the information visible in the title list so I can delete without reading or delete quickly after I’ve opened it.


Used To Be Mediocre, Now Worse...

A while back, I said this app was “Mediocre At Best”. I can’t even say that anymore. The app hasn’t improved for email, it’s only gotten worse. Yes, I’ve tried the “tried and true” method of deleting and re-installing the app multiple times, still doesn’t work that well. There are times, regardless of connection, that I’ll get a new email, try to open it up, see the header, and then the body of the email itself will go into an unending “loading” pattern. There are other times when I go to delete an email - I refresh the screen and the old email that I just deleted reappears again, as brand new again. I have to delete it twice. Other times, I see that I have a new email, and nothing pops up - I try to refresh the email and no new email pops up until I manually close and restart the app. Perhaps it’s time to split the email portion away from the app. Perhaps make it available as part of the iOS “Mail” function, instead of having us use a very buggy iOS app to view our Comcast email.

My family is always making fun of this 61 yr old using an IPhone and pages of apps Xfinity Connect gets used every day. I can monitor my land line calls - even call from that number when I am on the go. Xfinity keeps raising the bar with technology like this app. And I love the voice to text system for missed calls. I can read the transcript and never miss a beat. Looks like enhanced email is next. You folks are amazing!!! Thank You! Jim C

Push notifications not working

Recently I had to log into the app every time I wanted to check email, now there is no way to get the push notifications to function so have to open app regularly instead of quick check as they pop in automatically. Oh and there were several days a few months ago where I didn’t get any email on the app for an entire day, fortunately I could login outside of app and get my mail. Maybe too many bells and whistles added without proper support?

Email with this app is really terrible. Emails rarely load properly, delete properly, etc. This has been going on for way too long to not have been fixed by now. Get your act together and get this fixed. This is currently the worst app that I have on my phone.

Horrible, zero stars

I have to delete and reinstall the app at least 3 times a day. You click on an email and nothing loads. It spins forever. You delete an email and it pops back in the list immediately. This has been going on for a year or so. I’ve called COMCAST to let them know. That was pointless. I’ve done the “leave feedback” thing as well. It never improves. All I want is email to work. I will probably start forwarding my email to another account.
