Playback video not working after update

This update BROKE event playback! Yesterday I updated (mistakingly b4 checking that everything worked correctly on 1 of them 1st) Wyze app on 3 of my idevices. All 3 now no longer playback the video at the time of the selected 12 sec event clip. I tap “playback” & the video jumps to the current time, thus seeing the current time live stream, NOT the time of selected events playback. I have SD card in all of my cameras. On the 2 idevices I didn’t update, the playback Correctly plays the video at the selected event playback. Therefore that shows it’s the apps update, & NOT something w my cameras! Please Wyze, this is bad update... please fix this!

Bulb group issue

I cannot turn on/off/or select more options for individual bulbs anymore with the most recent update. I’ve deleted the app, reloaded, no change. I’ve deleted and recreated the bulb group, same problem. Please help.

Spam push notifications

This app is spamming me with unsolicited push notifications marketing new products and services. This requires explicit opt-in from apple and Wyze did not request it. The app should be removed from the App Store until this is resolved. Response to dev response: I did reach out and report this. They said they would look into it. Weeks later more spam. Stop abusing push notifications. Second response: just search your support for “push notifications” and apple or rules should pop right up. Otherwise read the current App Store Review Guidelines. This app is in violation of 4.5.3 and 4.5.4. Starting with all the people faces feature pushes.

This is not a security solution, beware.

Wyze is for amateurs who wants to check footage live on demand. There is no security feature that makes it useful.

Notifications seems to crash Apple Watch

Apple Watch keeps restarting with Wyze Cam notifications enabled. Restarting stops after muting notifications.

After a 3 month trial, the news detailing a multiple week customer database breach means I’m tossing my account today, along with my wyze email address. Sorry guys, you lost my trust. And you need a camera without a microphone after this mistake.

Flawless app (5 star) until a couple of days ago. Every Applet I have running through IFTTT stopped working. Please fix or revert to previous version. Contacted Wyze support and per their advice reconnected my devices to IFTTT via their respective apps. Hope I don’t have to do this too often. Currently all Applets are up and running.

URGENT: WYZE Security Breach

WYZE just notified users of a MASSIVE security breach. Check your email account for more information or do an internet search for details. Also, there is a HUGE unresolved issue with monitoring. I’ve turned off the sound monitoring on all cameras yet the cameras are still recording all conversations in my home. This is totally unacceptable and suggests to me that WYZE might intentionally be invading my privacy. That’s why I dumped their biggest competitor! To your customers you’ve gone from hero to zero in less than 3 months. Come on WYZE, get your act together!!

So frustrated. Excited to solve cats/litter box issue via cam, but can’t register app account. Deleted/ reinstalled multiple times. First letter for email address triggers “wrong email format.”
