App insists we change the wifi password to 8 characters to make it secured. Sadly it’s the office wifi and I can’t change a password if I don’t own. Can’t connect without a work around.
Too many cons

Updated my app all of a sudden my night vision doesn’t work. Camera freezes for almost 1 min, a lot can happen in that time. Also, having to get a ladder to take the camera down to charge it every 6-7 days, I’m kind of over this particular camera :/

Is there an update to fix the problem your app can’t decide if a video was viewed? also can you switch from different shades of gray for those that have vision problems.

The notifications do not work. I have everything enabled so that I SHOULD be receiving push notifications and I am not. I am also using this as a baby monitor, it’s just not working. Will have to switch to something else.

Don’t waste your money. It still thinks a flag is a person... ? I’ve had nothing but problems with their app, products and services. One unhappy customer right here.

This was a good system. Now all my cameras are down after I paid for the year. With all the violence going on and theft I would think WYZE would be on it. It almost seems too coincidental!!! Fix your app or return our funds! Two cameras at seperate times quit working! One is working. The yellow lights just come on. They do not ever turn blue nor do they setup completely! Happened after this past upgrade. I have used ths system a while now. I paid for this service and the cameras and expect them to work.
Google hub won’t stream cameras

Why hasn’t the bug of viewing my cameras on my google hub hasn’t been fixed as of yet. Been reported numerous of times by many ppl still hasn’t been addressed. I use them as a baby camera and it has never seemed to work properly. Please fix this known issue!!!

The cameras are okay. They’re a clever design. But the app is a joke. No badge alerts. Why? Why be that company? Not supporting badge alerts is 2010 stuff. What an annoying and arbitrary design decision. The app should not ask if I want to share events time. I don’t. Nobody does. Is this still beta or something? Ask your beta testers and quit bugging me, or give us an obvious opt out. The plugs regularly don’t work right. Idk why. The rear is okay, the sensors are good. The cameras work pretty good, but updates regularly break them and you have to reset or reboot it. But eventually they work again. The monthly pricing is fair. I don’t think they are pushy about sales. If you think so, go try Yi Home for a week and you’ll see a pushy, intentionally crippled user experience. Wyze doesn’t do any of that garbage and I hope they don’t start doing it.

Great improvement over many similar apps. Major complaint: way too many errors and core dumps while downloading events taken by the cam. Downloading or sharing long events (more than 2 min) have an outsized chance of bringing down the app, very long events (more than 4 min) almost always fail. Very short events (2-5 sec) produce an error when attempting to download. These problems seem to me straightforward to track down, reproduce and fix, and the fact that it is not yet done speaks bad about the development team. It’s a shame: the design of the app is almost perfect.
