Too many long ads

The ads play for over 30 seconds after EACH round. RIDICULOUS !

2 adds after every game! And now after the latest update you get as many as 20 seconds in ads after every game and you can’t stop them! Way too much. This game is fun, but the ads really detract. This has killed it for me. Finally deleted it.

So many ads that can’t be dismissed makes the game pretty much unplayable. More time is soent darling with ads than actually playing the game. Not that this review will help. There are a ton of reviews that echo this same sentiment but the ads continue.

I’ve been playing this for the past several years and really enjoy it. HOWEVER - over the past year or so, the ads have been a bit much and as of a couple of weeks ago, they’ve gotten to be almost too much. They’re very noisy with no way to silence them. Hate to say, but will have to stop playing this if things don’t change pretty quick.

As others have so clearly stated, the annoying ads have destroyed this app and made it horrible to try to play. I would gladly give a couple bucks to buy an ad-free version... not available. It’s going away and I have played this game for forever, it seems. Sorry!

You will waste half your time watching ads, some with long videos that you can’t get out of. There is an ad or two after EVERY game you play. Other than the ads, it is truly a great game!! Honest! Too bad they spoiled a great game with all the ads!

Really disappointed in the changes when they updated for the new OS. I originally paid for the app but the upgrade was free. I loved the game so I did the update. Big mistake. The game is the same, but there are ads after each game. More than one! I keep my phone in silent mode, so the noise is not a problem for me (a complaint of another reviewer), but the ads are enough to make me switch to Word Scramble because it has no ads!

I paid for this app several years ago and loved it. A couple of years ago they switched to a “free” app that runs ads. I complained to no avail but kept playing because I enjoyed it and the ads disappeared after several seconds. This week I am getting ads two in a row that run 30 seconds or more. I am totally PO-ed. I will never ever respond to ANY of these ads. Now I’m looking for a similar game from another developer. Totally disgusted.

I’m not against ad-supported games, but there comes a point when there the player spends more time closing pop-up ads than actually playing the game. Okay — Word Wrap isn’t quite that bad, but it is pretty darn close. Every single round is followed by an ad. It’s simply way, way too many. It makes the game unplayable for more than a couple rounds. That said, I’d happily pay for an ad-free version again (I had originally bought Word Wrap way back when), but that isn’t even an option.

This used to be my favorite word game but recently they started playing long ads after every round that are impossible to skip before around 30 seconds. It’s quicker to force close the app and reopen it but that’s not something to put up with when I’m just trying to have fun playing. I deleted the app
