New updates - UI experience poor

I’ve been playing this game for relaxation for nearly a decade. This new UI has reduced the speed at which you can enter the letters, eliminated the pause feature and is even visually clumsy. Please fix this or go back a version!! Update … the UI is a bit better with the second update … but the reduced speed at which you can enter the letter is still disturbing… frequently, especially in the last 10 seconds the game locks up and you can’t tap letters to enter a word. Also when tapping letters, the action is frequently not recognized or the UI is too slow to keep up and you may have to tap the letters multiple times to get the letter to move to the box… this causes misspellings and entry errors. Please fix the UI and the data entry issue!!!

I have been playing this game since 2009. I am a huge fan of this simplistic, addicting word game. It is easily one of my all-time favorites. The ads after EVERY single round is obnoxious, and although I understand the need for ads, this completely kills it for me. I would pay for the no-ad version, if there was one.

I understand the need for ads in free games. Unfortunately, the developers opted to allow ads between EVERY level. I can even understand this, to a point. However, many of the ads here are absolutely grating and obtrusive due to very loud music, loud voices and other loud gaming sounds. Mute the sounds you say? I already have the sounds turned off in the game. Worse, the controls to finally move past the ad are often hidden or non existent. To the developers - thank you for the years of enjoyment. But I’m done with this. You took something that is understandable and reasonable, and made it unbearable and unpleasant.

This used to be a great game. Then i chose the paid version to remove the completely annoying ads. Then they told me they were going to run the ads anyway. No refund. And I would even tolerate the ads because the game was so good, but all the ads come with sound that blares out in the middle of the night waking everybody in hearing distance.

Enjoyed for years - wish there was a paid version!

I have been playing Word Warp for a number of years, and I love the challenge. I just wish they would release a paid option with no ads. I would be very willing to pay (preferably up front rather than a subscription) to not have to wait on the ads, which I swear get more annoying as the years go on.

I love this game. But I find that I’ll play the same word sometimes 2 or 3 times within a couple of hours.

It happens every couple of weeks. The game will all but disappear and I have to remove the app and download all over again.

Intrusive ads make a once-favorite game unplayable

I used to play this game for long stretches of time. It’s one of my favorite word games. I ended up deleting it when it went a couple years without an update. I recently discovered it had been updated more recently and was thrilled. My disappointment when I realized I would have to endure several seconds of loud ads (that pause my music!) between every. single. puzzle is hard to overstate. I suffered through maybe a half dozen puzzles before I got fed up and deleted the app again. I would be willing to pay a reasonable price for an ad-free version of this game. I am not willing to waste my time on what amounts to an intensive ad delivery service with puzzles in between.
