Disappointing

Erased the app after a few games due to very long commercials after EVERY game. I used to love this game but I have no tolerance for this change.
Ads that refuse to close

I like the game. I don’t mind the ads when they close at a touch. What I hate are the ads with tiny little x’s with a teeny field to register the request to close. 5,6,7 and more attempts to hit the close x just right so the ad goes away so the game can resume. ANNOYING! Monitor your ad partners otherwise give the option to purchase(not rent for a month of no ads), that will not solve this problem.
Not a fan anymore

I have played wordwarp for many years and really enjoyed it as a brain exercise. It seems though they use tbe same words over and over and the game is no longer a mental challenge. Also, I have contacted the developer regarding their use of the ‘jihad’ as one of the words and to date they have not eliminated it. Need I say more...I will delete this app. Also, you have to completely turn down your volume to avoid annoying bells and sounds. It seems their ‘mute sounds’ button does not work
Constant ads! RUINED a good app!!

I’ve played this app for years, one of my first apps in fact. Never use to have ads, just tried playing…. CONSTANT ADS!!! LOUD ADS!!! With some apps you can X out after a few seconds… not here! With some apps you can swipe the app closes and reopen for the next game… nope… more ads. Likely deleting it completely.
Too many ads

I would gladly pay for no ads. I used to love this game but as others have stated there are too many ads. After every single game I play an ad pops up. I’m quitting until this is fixed. It’s really overkill. Some ads stay on and you can’t dismiss them until the time counts down. Now running 2 ads and have to click 3 times to close them. If you don’t tap on the exact small spot it takes you to the store. They must be making loads of advertising money. I think they would make more if they offered the no ad option. Waste of my time.
Ads made it unplayable

I used to love this game, but they recently changed how the ads run, and it became nearly impossible to dismiss the ad to get back to the game. The “x” to clear the ad was so tiny I could never get rid of it. It just kept opening the App Store for whatever game the ad was for, and I couldn’t ever play the next round without closing the app and restarting. It just got too annoying, so I deleted the game and will find something else.

I’ve enjoyed this game for years BUT restarting each game now necessitates sitting through ever-longer, annoying games ads. I would be delighted to purchase an ad-free option, if it were made available. Without that, I would not recommend Word Warp.
Disgraceful change

Now word warp forces you to download a new app (bitcoin) in order to play new game! You’ve got to be kidding and Apple should bar this disgraceful practice!
Fun game. Terrible experience

I get that the ads pay for the game. I’m fine with ads but I’m not fine with. Ads that won’t close. Ads that steal your click to link to the App Store. Ads that play sound even when the phone is on silent mode. Not ok.
