Wink is NOT reliable like it used to be

I have 48 lights connected in addition several other smart things. I have been ‘all in’ with my smart home for years. Sadly, my Wink Hub is regularly disconnected from the server. Flashing yellow for hours (it seems only when I need something on or off). Robots not working correctly, no new innovation with the app, customer service getting worse.... I’m sure others feel the same and have more gripes about it. I wish they could get it together. I hope they get bought by a tech company that wants to make the world an easier place to live through reliable, user friendly smart home technology - Jim Ryan

This was shredding my battery, deleting it for now and will just use Alexa. Battery usage said 96% of my battery every hour of the day. Charged at 1pm, dead by 8pm.

I’m using Wink for a Schlage door lock system on a vacation rental home. Without any kind of rhyme or reason, the Wink will go offline and the only way to get it back online is to manually unplug and replug the power cord and Ethernet cable—a little difficult when you live 1200 miles away. I thought it was a wifi issue, but even with a hardwire connection, it happens. This happens a lot, not just occasionally.

I need to learn my lesson and not continue to accept updates

Seriously. Latest update for iOS 13 compatibility should also be fully bug tested for prior iOS versions “supported” as well. We go on vacation and For some reason one of our lights (GE Link) on the porch that has been unresponsive for months decides to turn itself on by itself. Tried to trigger a manual ZigBee update on the Wink router via this app and the app simply crashes. Also the older scheduling option under the lights menu doesn’t actually trigger at times set when using the app on the phone in a different time zone... even if one explicitly chooses relative to sunset/sunrise based on the desired location. Useless

Good product but app needs version 2.0 modernization

System works well and stable. I guess the issue is with the graphics. They seem to be stuck in a version 1.0: Graphic choices for lights and plugs are very limited. How hard can it be to provide more options than bulbs, desks, porch’s and raindeer with lights. Graphics are huge and very simple. Modern smart phones can handle better. Custom graphics that may be uploaded would work as well. Some of the other updates such as home sitter and ifttt are top notch. And with no monthly fee - nothing is better.

Totally stopped working. Their phones don’t work anymore and email support is spotty. Stay away.

I use this app with garage door widgets. It would be a great feature if the widget was a different color when the door was open (i.e. red instead of blue when door is open). I love the app and use ur frequently!

Tech support non existent.

Don’t know if they went out of business, or handed it over to a computer. They used to be good with tech support, now, they just send emails. Not practical.

Are you guys still around? Are you bankrupt? I don’t understand how the quality of service has declined so much. I’ve submitted two tickets because I’m not getting low battery alerts for my lock. I was almost locked out of my house. Both times they’ve responded several days later asking to resubmit the ticket due to high volumes. What? Le I’m sitting here trying to change the color on my light and set some robots it it takes minutes for the light to respond. Even after rebooting the hub. Are you guys even trying anymore? So disappointed.

Will I-am owns this company and app. and has no nothing with the company but run it into the ground. Had such a bright start but is a garbage app. and service now!
