Just okay, needs secure Touch Id access

technonut

The app is just okay, UI organization is a bit kludgy. Doesn't always report correct thermostat temps. Big goof is that, unlike most all home security apps, they don't give ability to secure the app with Touch Id. My alarm.com, Honeywell, and ADT apps all do this.

No iPad app. So dumb.

Drphrrr

No iPad app. Still!! Reluctantly off to Smartthings. I give up. And the phone app is a little quirky in its design. Poorly done.

You fixed it!

zabadu

You fixed the GE light connection issue I’ve had for YEARS! Thank you!! I’m holding one star back because it took you 4 years to fix this problem.

Can’t update the firmware

Airborn14

I try to upload the firmware but it just keeps loading and doesn’t actually load it. Hopefully that bug is fixed soon since I’m unable to add 3 smart smoke/carbon monoxide detectors in my house for each bedroom.

Found a work around

My biggest complaint was that almost every time I accessed the app to turn on a light the app would have to reload. So a simple act of turning on a light would be a five or more seconds wait. Hardly convenient. Well now I’ve found that I can use the widget to basically turn on or off a light. Works immediately but limited to off and on. But then if you go to the app it comes up without reloading and I can then adjust the brightness. So it’s not perfect but less frustrating.

Wink works great

Santosm74

I love the rink, but it needs a few improvements. Could you create separate tabs for the robots and the timers? It is really confusing when I need to look for a specific timer, and they are all together in the same tab. Also if you can add more Ivón, or if we can use our own icons for the light and power. Also a favorite tsb that we can only have the switches that we use in a regular based Thanks!

Needs a lot of work

This app is a bit simplistic and the entire hub system is clunky at best. Unreliable reports, alerts come through when they want, devices are constantly "offline" despite the contrary. I'm not sure if the other smart home brands are any better at this stage, but Wink can't be the best. Do your research, I know I wish I had.

Not getting better

aekupp

The app is very buggy. With lights going on at random. But it could just be a ghost Or the hub 2 I have. The Apple Watch app, forget about it. Only crashes.

Wow, almost there

12/03/17 So soon a fail, so sad Dropping 2 stars Latency can be horrific. Tap button - light on. Tap button, 29, 30, 31 seconds - light on. So ISP (Charter) drops out. Hub cannot reconnect no matter what I do. 11/30/‘17 Has been working well and was going to update and add a star. Subtracted a star as Watch app no longer works. Stuck on “loading” screen. Apparently needs to wait a while. All set. Just get that software based HomeKit integration set up - I’d even pay a fee - and you get five stars —— Let's go "all in" and support HomeKit and iOS 10 and the Home app. So far has been stable, but only using to monitor two doors. The egg holder is a lost cause. 3/16/'16 Latest version After several fits and starts the door sensor are stable, and working properly as far as notification via messaging. Not sure what was going on in Feb/early Apr 2016. Added 1 star and let's see where we go... Previous review "Resets & App disappears?!?" Apparently any update to the Wink hub destroys the settings you've created. And even more bizarre, the app on your phone can spontaneously delete itself?!?
