Not worth the money

panepintojohn

I bought this one because a friend told me about it. I works ok with little problems. It started of as a free app and now they want to charge you per month to use the app remotely. Just not worth it.

You serious? A subscription?

Intensemx

Everything was already very “meh” Maybe 8 years ago subscription would work but in this time when i can control my coffee maker remotely for free you want me to pay for this? Screw you wink. Never again will I buy a product from you.

Bait and switch

userporfavor

Like others I purchased products over the years only to have them all rendered useless unless I sign up for a new paid subscription. The development and functionality has been steadily decreasing for quite some time and now the products don’t work. Stay away and let this company die off.

Do not buy !! it is a Scam

vegivamp

All of a sudden after investing on wink sevice and things used to work. all of a sudden wink app is promoting for subscription for 5 bucks a month to go to any thing in the app . On the website they say local setup and control of devices does not require subscription but it’s a lie it requiring me subscription for me to even navigate the menu items in the app . This app is holding all your investment hostage and asking for ransom. Do not buy any wink products anymore. Also there web site presents chamberlain product as one of the branda they integrate with but the scam is they are lying. they have discontinued the integration since May 2020. I just bought “wink hub 2”. And the app won’t even let me add the device. It’s a easy fix I am taking it back and getting my refund to invest on something worthy. Mark my words with this business model and the midst of pandemic more people staying home. Wink will go under by end of 2021 3rd quarter

Stay away from wink

202broken

Used wink to control my aros air conditioner, then they decided to charge for the app, doesn’t seem worth it for 1 appliance. The aros didn’t come with a physical remote so now it’s rendered our air conditioner almost useless since it’s not in a place that was easily accessible. Going to look specifically for appliances that do not use wink in the future.

This company is DEAD

Betinho zzz

don’t waste your time, not worthy!! Not to mention that now you have to sign up for a subscription and they don't even say that on the description of the app.

Pay for service and still terrible quality

Bladergang414

Switched to pay for monthly service and quality is still terrible. Wink hub is down more often than not and it’s not because of my internet or WiFi. It just stops working

Server connection lost

app now useless

App update that was supposed to fix issue has now completely crashed app. Just keep getting message server connection lost. Can’t control anything!

Wink disappeared

Joeldor

I have a full wink integration of hubs 1 & 2 with most of my light switches automated. All functionality has gone. I can’t log in, my hubs aren’t connected to the server and I can’t even pull up their website to email or call them.
