Invaluable service for busy or erratic schedules

JohnMatthew

Fantastic and competitive pricing. Heads up the default scheduling screen sometimes starts on the next week or defaults to early times of day. But walkers are consistently solid and conscientious and reliable.

DON’T USE IT

nn iris

Very unprofessional walker. Late for 80mins, bring stranger to my home, and they wandering around in my kitchen and bathroom( have baby monitor footage) , walker try to use wrist leash as a collar which is very dangerous because apparently that’s way too loose for a puppy’s neck. Customer service has no response for this, and charged me 14$ even it’s my first walk. DONT USE IT!

Bad Ethics

ethics 101

They charge dog walkers to start working for them and then there is no availability in major metro areas. Yes they are insured and they do background checks but they don’t address oversaturated areas that have multiple walkers that get job priority over newcomers searching for work and paying to work for them. My advise is get an independent dog walker you trust unless you like paying a company that’s not being ethical.

Great in short notice

I’ve been in the hospital and I have asked my dogs to be walked on short notice I had a responsible times within 10 minutes and it has helped tremendously knowing that my dogs are being taken care of and walked while I’m in the hospital my husband is at work thank you for the great experience

A little pricey

Should have more flexibility in pricing

Horrible app and even worse customer service

rileyjames1988

The wag service isn’t bad (which is to say the walkers are great) but only about half the money from the walks goes to the walkers. The rest goes to the company, and frankly I have no clue what they do with all that money considering how unbelievably awful both the app and website are. By far the least user friendly and most frustrating technology I have ever encountered. It feels like it was created and is managed by a 6th grader taking a computer science course. I’ve never opened the app without there being some glitch or malfunction. The website and app aren’t even synced up with one another so every change needs to be made in both. Simple things like updating your dog’s age (because for some absurd reason that doesn’t happen automatically) are impossible without constantly having to contact their customer support. More than half the time you can’t even track your dog’s walk, which is mainly why I started using wag in the first place. Functions change from day to day where suddenly you find that you can’t make a change you were able to make the previous day. You’ll click “Edit” to revise a note for the walker and the app just stops responding. Or indicates changes were saved but instead deletes all content. Honestly, since I’ve started using wag, functionality has only gotten worse. If that wasn’t bad enough, contacting customer support about any issue you’re having proves completely useless every time. You get back responses basically saying that they’re “sorry and working on it” but I’ve seen ZERO improvements and only more problems. One thing the customer service department is great at though is annoying users with incessant texts and emails about “special offers” or “discounted walks” while simultaneously ignoring your questions and reported service issues. I have almost $50 in credits left (which wag refuses to refund) but deleted the app and vow to never use it again. Wag has continued to demonstrate a complete disregard for their customers and do nothing to improve service, all while pocketing $13 of every $20 walk. Where is the money going?! I can’t warn you enough not to use wag. So many better companies out there that provide the same service at a lower cost and without any of the issues. Try Rover! STAY AWAY FROM WAG!

Great service and walkers, but can’t cancel recurring walks

Anyoneburgeoff

Required to call a phone line that has long wait times to cancel recurring walks. Only flaw in an otherwise great service, but a significant one for me.

Love this app
