DO NOT UPDATE!

rwizard

Before updating you need to carefully review the "improvements". It looks like they were added by a lawyer. Usability of the app is diminished in important aspects, including the fact that you cannot have the app running in a moving vehicle. So much for road testing intermittent issues. There are other issues introduced as well. As for the free add ons, if you are like me you paid for them long ago. I doubt I will be seeing a refund. I suspect this app is being end of lifed and we customers are being kicked to the curb. In any case we need to see the in motion and bluetooth changes go away. I buy a lot of automotive test equipment but Actron can forget about any future business from me. They just removed key functionality from a product that I own. By the way, I went to app support before posting here - there is no support under app support.

Don’t buy until changes are made

Useless after update. Very inconvenient changes made. Will be contacting company for refund

Has been made useless

No such name

With update to 1.2.8, U Scan has essentially been made useless.

Update pretty much bricks it

Don’t do it!

Airbag portion rip off

Had air bag light on 2009 Impala. Purchased air bag upgrade and tried it out. Doesn’t communicate. Tried on 2010 Traverse. Nope doesn’t work on that either. Emailed U-scan and they said those vehicles weren’t supported and I would have to go back to the developer to get my money back. I’m sure that’s going to easy. How about letting you know before you buy which models it works on. I was plugged into the car when I purchased so it should have know and not let me purchase.

Used to be okay, now awful

We have a small fleet of trucks, it was good at giving us a snapshot of how the trucks were doing. Now the app doesn't work, crashes, rarely works. We are going to buy a traditional code reader.

Don't bother.

Good idea, miserable execution. Save your money and time and go with an OBDLink MX which is not a closed proprietary system. I tried to unlock the abs codes features, which admittedly should come with the purchase of the device, but their in app purchase store is "busy or offline" - like I said, don't bother.

Just me...

If you ask me! I'm very satisfied with this little gadget! GREAT TOOL FOR THE "DIY" at home! Travel size to take along is great as well!!! Not BULKY! Really recommend it!!!

Don't do the update.

Blackknight00711

The new update makes it unusable. They don't have the auto id database setup.

Unusable after update

Talkin' bacteria
