Always have to reconnect because it's doesn't hold a Bluetooth connection. Constantly have to unplug and re plug because it loses communication with my phone. I have a 2015 Challenger and even with the vin number it couldn't find the dang car. It's pretty useless and unreliable to me. You just can't beat a good plug in device. I think this just came out before its time and without sufficient research. I had to program it has a Dodge Viper in order for it to work. None of the in app purchases are available and you can't register it without making an in app purchase lol. Worst $80 I've ever spent in a long time.

It doesn't seem to work with a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. My check engine light is on but it says there are no error codes.

I've used this device 2 times so far I have the 9600 that bluetooth's to your smart phone I've scanned 2 mini coopers for engine lights they retrieved the codes out of both fine and when performed the clear code the device cleared the codes without any hiccups you can store the vehicle in history and all the data and codes on each saved vin#,when you hook up vehicle it retrieves the vehicle's info automatically,it's actually a pretty nifty device SO FAR!!!! ill report in future if the device starts to give me any issues! Also I don't think this unit will work on any vehicles after 2014 or 2015 and below 1995 I believe I have the years fairy correct so beware if You are buying it for those years this device basically will perform on 1996-2014ish
