Not sure what the fuss is about with this unit. I read the directions, maybe that is the difference. You do have to manually pair in blue tooth (not a huge deal) and update the unit (following on screen directions) once you have done this, you have a pretty cool unit! You can buy add ons, (I have not found a need yet). This works well with my 2017 Santa Fe. I will try with the rest of my cars and trucks and report back if I have an issue.

Tho it would be nice if you could purchase a bundle on this app for all options and not have them all separate. Sure it doesn't yet fully add up to the more pro ones out there and it has helped me some times I just not looking forward to paying another 30$ . But again all together I think it runs ya about 160 or something idr

Great value! I purchased the tool and I turned off my engine light in minutes. I have the upgrades for ABS checks and took it over to my mechanic friends..they were blown away. It is real fast...scans your car in a couple minutes--no joke...

Does not meet claim that it works on iPad. Bought app and the add ons and it freezes. Complete waste of money.

Turned on bluetooth and paired it. Then when it updates firmware it says it can not detect it anymore. It says that you have to purchase more items on the app. But it doesn't mention this on the box. I would of been better off buying the real thing.

Updates take a long time and ultimately failed. never could establish connectivity. Called support and they blamed it on iPhone. Pep Boys will not accept returns on diagnostic equipment once opened.

Scans really good ... Buy won't let me purchase the extra features .... It's just stays in purchase mode and won't purchase the extra stuff.
