Terrible, battery lasts less then a month. I had one on my dog and with the dog within 10 ft with a fresh battery the unit would not work. We threw money away with these

I’ve owned these since they were a sponsor on TWiT back then. Purchased 3, they worked for about 3 days. Then stopped connecting. They advised me to keep the app open in the background. I did, no joy about 60% of the time. When I needed them for Hurricane Harvey, they wouldn’t connect. I was in an evacuation zone and I needed my items... Support has sent me replacements when the internals changed in the bravo, they lasted 7 days until no connection. I have to keep reconnecting them. Last battery replacement after contacting support says there’s a bug in the firmware, they are working for a resolution. That problem has been cited for about 3 battery replacement cycles. I guess they aren’t really gonna fix it? Now all the support goes to “Page Not Found” in the app and in the App store. Also I can’t ever chat with them during normal business hours, never works from the app... Leads me to believe this is podcast advertising quality which means that it’s worse that the stuff on Ali Express.

Can’t even log in properly and support doesn’t respond to my email. No wonder I found this in the Best Buy clearance bin.

Does more harm than good

Tells me my things are at home when they are with me 100 miles away. My iPhone knows where it is in every location based app, but TrackR app thinks my TrackR is at home—connected and “Nearby” according to the app. I force quit, no change. I cycle airplane mode, no change. This can really only be explained by poor programming.

It does what I need it to do but I’ve noticed they’ve scaled back their website and are now charging 3x as much for the pixel as they used to ($30 instead of $10,) don’t have any of their other products anymore, and are listed as being in partnership with a company that does EOL inventory management. As long as it works, cool, but I wouldn’t invest any more in these particular devices because those are warning signs of a dying or dead company. Also their app links to a cancelled zendesk account.

Never received the confirmation email

I tried multiple times and even tried with a second and third email but I never received the confirmation email. They do not have a means of letting you contact them for support so this one goes in the trash. Sorry Trackr. I tried.

Very bad and blurry app. You also have to have your device near your phone. The one reason I got this free app was to find my Apple Watch and you have to hold it right next to your phone. This app is Garbo

False Ringing

Why is my phone always ringing from TrackR for no reason. I have turned off separation alerts, even though that is the whole reason I bought these. Then I silenced every option available. Then I turned off iPhone notifications for the app. And it STILL loudly rings my phone if I touch my keys. God forbid I put the trackr and keys in my pocket. Then for sure the button will be ringing my phone. To be clear there is NO setting a available to cease the trackrs from calling my phone. It cannot be stopped; of course unless I move back to Tile. I hate it but that’s what I must do. Why can’t you simply have an option to TURN OFF ALL IPHONE ALERTS, at least until you can make them work right. Your customers have made it clear this is a problem. Are you in denial?

Work at first but experience degrades

I’ve had these for under a year. I have them on various keys. It worked pretty well but now the tracker doesn’t work most of the time. If I’m trying to find a key, it just shows me where they were two months ago. I can be standing on top of/over the TrackR and the app won’t find it.
