No

Tiny Chum

Got one as a gift. It was so buggy, it was useless. I was staying in a hotel and I started hearing this digital noise and I couldn't figure out what it was. I even called the hotel to complain about a weird noise in my room. Turns out it was false alarms from this tracker coming from my phone. I got rid of it.

Not safe enough for me

Safety1st4mygrands!

I purchased 10 of the TrackeR bravo location devices for several reasons, one of which was to add to my very young grandchildren’s book sacks to know their whereabouts if they didn’t come home. However, after downloading the app, I went online to register it, and it told me to register so that a crowd could help me find or locate my lost item. It did not give me an option to “opt out” of that service. This scared me and I didn’t register because I don’t like the possibility of a bad person being able to just log-on and locate my “lost item” or grandchildren. No thank you.

Alexa skill works well

Masugah

I downloaded this app specifically to allow the Alexa skill to find my phone. The first thing I noticed upon registering in the app is the lack of attention to detail. This is reflected in the fact that the first and last name field does not automatically capitalize my first and last name nor does it pull from my phone’s database of auto fill information. Later in the confirm password field it does attempt to auto fill my email address again a lack of attention to programming detail. Set up with the Alexa app is fairly simple. The only exception is that with in the TrackR app on my phone I’m required to submit a pin number that it seems that Alexa is supposed to give me. That did not happen naturally instead once I had finished setting Alexa up I had to go back and ask her for the pin which was a bit confusing although ultimately did not take too long. Since downloading the app and attempting to use the find my phone feature Alexa has successfully located my phone throughout my house. For those of you looking for similar features I would suggest this app.

The TrackR just never stayed connected!

Help

CristovalF

When I open the app it ask to register or sign in so I hit register put in my information and the app then says it will send a verification email it’s been 2hrs still haven’t received it and there is no help line or email for me to contact. Actually there is but I have to be signed in to access it so you see the predicament I’m in.

Wasted money

webgecko

I bought a three pack and downloaded the app, which I cannot use because after thirty hours they still haven’t sent a validation email. My mistake I should have stuck with tiles.

Inconsistent and Unreliable

TrueLuck3

It tracks your stuff, so cool. But the alerts are absolutely terrible. I’m getting constant “crowd alerts.” But I’m the only one in my house with the TrackR app and a single device. Why do I keep getting “crowd” alerts? It’s my own device, not someone else’s device. Shouldn’t it simple update the location? Then there’s the terrible separation alerts that go off randomly, at full volume on your phone, all. the. time. So I’ve basically turned off all alerts and will only activate the app if I lose my device. Pretty poor execution. These guys should take some pointers from Tile.

Wow! Should have read the reviews before purchasing

Annoyed but awake

Where to start? Well, I guess I’ll start with the fact that I can’t even get either of the two TracR Bravo trackers to connect. One appears to be DOA and the other just beeps when trying to connect it to the app but the phone never sees it. So, I guess that’s where the review ends since I can’t even get started. Really feels like a waste of money because I don’t have the time or desire to go through a return process for something that probably won’t work very well anyway. I guess I’ll just chalk it up to a $50 lesson learned and hopefully someone else will learn from my mistake in purchasing without researching first.
