I called in with a sinus infection. I’m 51 and get one every year. I know how it feels and am more than positive it is a sinus infection. I told the doctor multiple times I have the infection and she wasn’t willing to hear it. I told her I needed a antibiotic and she refused saying I didn’t have a infection and it was allergies. I reiterated multiple times it’s a infection and she still wouldn’t prescribe me a antibiotic. So the next day I go to urgent care, they look and see it’s a infection and prescribe me a antibiotic. I was hoping this service would save me the inconvenience of going in, but it did the opposite. I DON’T RECOMMEND!!!

Dr kept pushing a covid test. Everything is NOT covid! Every year at the same time I get the same sinus infection/post nasal drip/sinusitis. Dr just kept pushing a covid test and not listening to my symptoms.

One of the best things ever! I don't need sit and wait in a lobby. I can talk to someone while I am at home or on the road! Providers are amazing

This particular app/service is provided with my insurance. And it’s terrific except for one annoyance. The message center Unfortunately I can’t seem to figure out how to remove messages no longer relevant. And you get a lot of them !! I am continually getting alerts about messages Often they are pretty much duplicates. . Now if only I could clear the clutter that is the messages. You get virtually the same information via message in all three categories. Summary, provider message , and invoice / survey and again as a system message. It’s annoying. Other than that I’ve found it a huge benefit. No long waits generally so it’s efficient. The doctors I’ve had contact with for my issues , have pretty much become my healthcare team. They’re that good.

First experience with Teladoc; can’t recommend them enough! After completing questions on app, thought I’d have at least an hour wait. Doctor called within 10 minutes of completing application questions. He was direct, kind, listened to my response to his questions. Medications are being sent to our pharmacy as I write this. So thankful in this troubled Covid age, there are good options to seeking care in traditional facilities. While this doesn’t apply to all situations, fortunately it did in mine.
