Great app, terrible calendar sync

Great app. I’ve been using it for years. Really like it, but the app sync to iOS calendars is terrible. Sometimes it syncs quickly, other times it seems like it only syncs overnight. Make that faster and this app is golden.

Beware.. Team snap calendars are not syncing with iPhone calendars. Over the last week, anything that’s been added is not syncing. Extremely frustrating! I have tried to troubleshoot and nothing has helped.

I have never given an app such a negative rating. Shoot I don’t even review apps but this one is so terrible I had to take the time to review. I CANNOT send messages from the app to my team (tried on the phone and desktop.) They just sit in the sent box with an error message of “not yet sent” no matter how many times I try to send it. There is no true customer service, just a chat box where you type your issue and it takes you to not so helpful articles to read. I’ve had to reach out to teamsnap on twitter and I’m STILL waiting for a response. Now, TeamSnap has randomly locked me out and gives a message that I’ve violated its terms of service. Ha. The only thing I’ve done is try to send a message. Our coach wants us using this app so I’m stuck with it but will absolutely tell everyone to steer clear if they can.
Doesn’t update consistently

There are some good things about the app, but the most frustrating is that it doesn’t update consistently if there are changes to the schedule. For example, our games for our tournament were updated by the team manager. The location of the games changed, but when I click on the direction link, I get directions to the previous venue. Other parents can click on it and get directions to the updated venue. We had another instance where a game was canceled. Most of the parents got the update, but one or two parents were still showing the game as being scheduled. Those bugs need to be fixed.

The app is great but soccer moms constantly spam the chat about dumb stuff and annoys everyone.
Good and effective team management app

I would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t difficult to delete old / inactive teams from the app. How do I delete teams which have been inactive? It continues to show up on my app. Annoyance.

The app itself is good, but badges on the icon do not show. The only way to know that there are messages in the app is if you open the app and look. Please fix this issue.
For parents this app stinks

I stopped using this app 2 years ago because it only acknowledges one admin on the account. I am divorced and because my ex husband is the admin, I don’t get any emails or alerts from the app, I cannot modify any of the profile details for my son and I cannot invite anyone to join. It would be nice to see basic functionality work especially when it’s presented like it should.
