A mess of a system

This system does, kind of get the job done in terms of serving its purpose. The messaging vs alert system vs the emails sent out is confusing. Some functionality vs webpage and app is not there. Nothing seems to have improved over 3 years of usage as a coach.

Latest update finally fixed the issue with having no ability to subscribe to TeamSnap Plus. App could use more features at this point, but the basics are good.

I love having the feature of seeing the schedules and live game updates. One of the biggest issues I have is uploading pictures to albums. It would be nice if I could select a group of pictures instead of having to select each one. It’s easy to get lost on which picture you just uploaded, especially when you have over 50 pictures to add. I’ve also noticed when viewing the pics, it’s extremely slow, to the point when it won’t even load. If those features could be fixed or updated I wouldn’t have any complaints.

From a team manager POV: we have the basic upgrade so no ads. The app is great for almost all of our needs. The only recommendation I have is for the team snap crew to add a feature for player subs/guests. Would love to be able to add people temporarily and not part of the general team stuff.

TeamSnap is very helpful to know when your games and practices are and who is going to the games and practices and it is very good to know that that's why I like TeamSnap

I do not know what I would do without this app. I wouldn’t nearly be as organized if this app didn’t exist and I mean that! TeamSnap allows you to notify your team of any games, practices, etc. If you coach ANY sport, please have all players & parents download TeamSnap. Will make your life 1000 times easier. More than a 5 star app!

I had to switch to this from Sports Engine and almost want to go back to our other team just so I can use that app again. I have some notification that will not go away and I can not find where it is so the badge always shows a 1 next to it. USA Hockey numbers have to be put in manually which is a pain because only the club can do it which the other is automatic using APIs and would be very easy to do they just don’t want to do it, I mean your profile picture has been “Coming Soon” for a year now. I like some parts of the UI but features are rough and Team Snap as a whole needs to start pushing for making things better, since there are better apps out there people can use and I will be trying to get my club to change since Team Snap falls way short on what others can do.

I’ve made every attempt to update to the latest version, and believe I have the latest, but still receive a notification – accompanying EVERY new team chat notification – telling me that I have just received a message and that I need to update the app in order to receive team chat notifications. PLEASE STOP!!!

TeamSnap is an amazing tool that our team utilizes to keep everyone updated and on schedule. The chat feature is very helpful for asking questions and sending out information. The Schedule is the perfect place to find practice and game information, along with times and locations with maps. Definite 5 out of 5 rating that completely exceeds my expectations!
