Doesn’t open … ever

I’ve had this app for a while- it stopped working a few months ago but I didn’t really care because I didn’t use it too often… I tried to open it recently to look up provider, but again it kicked me right out, didn't even open, goes right back to my main screen. My phone is up to date, uninstalled and reinstalled the app… no success… since everybody seems to love it the mistake must be on my side so I’ll try to figure it out… but it is highly annoying!

This app is ridden with bugs and I can’t get past the one-time security code to setup my account. Here are some of the issues I have encountered and are preventing me from accessing my insurance info: - “oops something went wrong” message when requesting the Security code by SMS, voice or email. - “sorry we are unable to complete your request using these answers” message when using the security questions instead. I am able to connect to the Anthem website using the same credentials and security answers. Bottom line: this app is useless for me

The app has many issues. No done or back or share or the like buttons are visible. You click in the spots where they might be and they are there, but again not visible. I click the show EOB link and it takes me to a year summary not an EOB for that claim. That’s as far as I got before I tossed this useless app. Also, why change the name from Anthem to Sydney when my insurance is Anthem. Why don’t car repair shops and restaurants just change the names of car part and food to find exciting names that no relationship to the parts or foods the names represent. Very silly modification.

Just signed up with Anthem. Downloaded the app. Attempted to register. Submitted all information then asked to provide a recovery phone number. Submitted phone number and got into spiral of “we can’t take your number” but “you must submit a number”. Useless, frustrating app. Zero stars.

Very easy to view benefits, drs, and prescriptions. New to this so I’m sure I will have other opinions as I go.

Why would you call an app for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Sydney? Whenever I need the app, I have to go to the App Store and type in “Anthem” to remember the name of the app.

My company moved the management of our HSA to anthem. The app either does not offer or makes it difficult to find balance information. So far, it’s a huge fail. I miss the prior administrator.
No Explanation of Benefits within the app

What’s the point of a healthcare mobile app if the EOB is not available? Basically, you only see how much is owned without details… I have to log to the mobile website to see it…
Wheres the add to wallet button

I’ve looked high and low for a way to add my ID to apple wallet. The app store says the app supports it, but theres no way to add the ID card to Wallet. You can download it, but given that the App name is Sydney I’ll never remember how to get to it. Way to camouflage your brand name guys. Made me think this was a bogus phishing attack until I saw the developer name.
