The General P
I experience random server errors. I'm unable to change my favorite salon to one in another city. I had to create a new account just to make an appointment in another city. Very little testing is done on this app.

This is one of the worst apps I have seen in a very long time! It’s too restrictive, won’t actually let you select, then keep your stylist! Too restrictive about selecting a date/time then it’s not really an appointment after you fight thru all the try’s you have to go through to actually do what you want to do! I don’t know about anybody else, but I don’t have time for this & because I am VERY BUSY, I need to have appointments so I can put them on my calendar!!!! AFTER THIS ATTEMPT TO SET UP A TIME TO GET A HAIRCUT I HAVE DECIDED THAT IF SUPERCUTS CONTINUES TO USE THIS APP I WILL NO LONGER USE SUPERCUTS!!!!! And now, the absolute WORST, I can’t submit my input without choosing a name & have tried multiple times and get the message “name already taken, try again ARE YOU PEOPLE NUTS????????
Totally unreliable estimations of wait times

The whole point of this app is to have an idea of how long wait times are and be able to put your name on the list to minimize the amount of time you are waiting. The problem is, the estimated wait time that the app gives you is never reliable. I was next door having breakfast and I could have checked in at any time, but the app kept telling me there was a 0 minute wait, so I waited until I was actually ready to go in. When I checked in, the app confirmed a 0 minute walk it, but as soon as I walked in, I was told it was a 30 minute wait. If the app had given me accurate info, I could have easily checked in earlier.

When the HOME screen CAN’T show your favorite SUPERCUTS hours, indicating the hours are UNAVAILABLE, but the search screen brings your favorite store’s hours up without any difficulties, there’s a programming problem.

The app gives me location/hours/phone number of a supercuts that I have in contact list with that info. if you want to make if worth anything, add coupons to the APP instead of emailing or texting coupons (i tend to delete both). what would be great, if the APP could be scanned to count how many visits. i cannot count how many times that I have not gotten credit for a visit.

My salon location no longer displays a “check me In” option compared to other locations that have this option. Have to call my salon now to schedule an appointment.
Selecting service for check in

App should have the ability to change/add services in the check in menu. Sometimes my daughter gets a cut and waxing services, others times just one or the other. Having to edit a profile in order in check in for the services she needs is very inconvenient.
False Error Messages

I tried checking in using the app, but I just got a spinning ball and after about 5 minutes an error message popped up. When I resubmitted, it told me I had an active check-in on file. I tried to view check-ins, but, again, just got the spinning ball. Nevertheless, I took my chances and was relieved to find that I was, indeed, checked-in. My first instinct upon receiving the error was to go to a competitor. I downloaded the app in the past, but found it worthless and deleted it. On a whim, I tried it again today. I was, to say the least, not impressed. I think an error prone app is worse than not having an app at all. Update: After leaving this review, the app has gotten even worse. They took away the ability to checkin online and request a stylist. Now the app just lets you locate a store (which google does just fine) and call the store with just the push of a button (which google also does quite well). And it’s still glitchy. I had to reset my password After doing so, I couldn’t just go back the login screen as the back button didn’t work. I had to completely close out of the app and reopen it. Then I had to delete it. Not sure why I bother. There are thousands of apps that perform far more complicated services without issue. This app could be a strong business driver. Instead it’s driving me away. Why do I need to clutter up my phone with useless apps? Yes, developers, I would like to change my review, but there’s no option for zero stars.

The app does what it is supposed to do but could be better if the appointment integrated with the Apple/Android calendar. The date, time and location of the appointment should be exportable to the calendar of the smartphone.
