I HIGHLY recommend you buy the Phase 1-5 training programs. It's optional but it's well worth the price. This app has research backed science put into every facet of the training phases. Wondering why he chose a 15 rep range one week with an undulating reverse pyramid scheme the next week? He explains it all and CITES HIS SOURCES. And if you don't want to buy his science backed program, you can use any of the FREE templates of the most popular workout routines on the Internet and they are all fit seamlessly into the workout tracker. Want to start German Volume Training but confused as to the rep scheme, tempo, and exercises? He already has a template. 5x5? There's a template. 5/3/1? There's a template. Sheiko? There's a template. Madcow? There's a template. Wanna do your own thing and not use a template? You can do that too. The new version is better. This app alone will save you hours of research and reading on the Internet to figure out your own workout programming. I don't know what else to say. This app is free. Download it and check it out and you'll see what I mean.

Love it

I can't remember if I rated this app yet. But I love it!

Must Have!

PatXfit

I have used this application for over three years and it has been my most reliable tool when working towards getting stronger. I have used several of the programs such as 5/3/1 and madcow and love the fact that we are now able to download other workout programs. If you are a lifter and aren't using this app, you are missing out.

Can't recommend enough!!!

Amazing app :) Let's you track progress, create your own program, use preset programs, or search for ones created by other users. 5*'s! If you want to track your gains and stay on track w your program, look no further!!!

Excellent

This app is fantastic for training on your own. The smart coach features work pretty smoothly and the customization is a nice feature too.

Superb tracking and estimation

jackclary

This is by and large the best fitness app I could find on the App Store. The tracking and estimation of maxes along with tailoring the workouts to specific needs is quite well done. It's simple and the readability allows for a very streamline process of working out and tracking results. Highly recommend, and also recommend purchasing the pre-scribed workouts offered by the app creator, which allow for better tracking.

Great workout app.

This app has things I'm shocked by like tracking exertion during workouts and modifying future workouts to keep progress steadying. This app is like having a personal trainer at a fraction of the price that is backed by science. There are way too many features to list.

If you lift, this is the only app you need

Vince DePetrp

The best lifting app available, and I have tried more than a few, and keeps getting better. Developer is very responsive to questions and requests for new features and there are frequent updates to add features. The free features go well beyond most apps with some of the more popular programs pre-loaded and the ability to create and store custom programs or create one on the fly. There is also a paid program that I admit I have not used, but based on the research that has gone into the rest of the app is undoubtedly good. I did pay for the "quick sets" add on and found it well worth it.

Great app

The app keeps getting better. One of the best and I have tried most of them.

Amazing App

Incredible app that takes all the tedious work of tracking my training away. It collects, compiles, and displays data accurately so that I can see how well I'm progressing. I highly recommend this app to be used by any lifter of any experience. Very well put together! EDIT: So I ran into a small problem while trying to build a new program. I messaged the developers, and in five minutes (FIVE MINUTES!) they responded to me that they have just fixed the issue and submitted it to the Apple App Store. They told me to expect Apple to push the update after 48 hours pending their review. 24 hours later there was the new update fixing the problem. These guys are the best, and their app is still helping me progress. It's fun to see my strength progression broken down into the data they display.
