Simple Bank has changed both my banking habits and my confidence in banking. After tons of bad experiences with BofA and their endless fees, it was a real breather to find an online bank without fees. The Instant Transfer is really helpful too, so my boyfriend and I can lend money to one another without having to share an account. They also have very personable customer service reps who talk to you without a bunch of scripting- it's like I'm talking to a regular person and not a robot. You can even chat with them through the app and their turn around time is AMAZING! I'm so happy with Simple bank, and I can't wait to see what new developments they have in the future!

Everything you want in banking: a user friendly, simple, and sophisticated experience. If you ever need support (unlikely because, yes - it works flawlessly) there are friendly staff who will write you HAND written letters. Charming and modern? That's Simple.

Please add a calculator to the app. This is the only thing that I could ever want that simple has not already thought of. I struggle to find words to describe how much I love simple. I thought I was doing ok with managing my checking account and then simple came along and taught me that i can do BETTER with less effort and strife. I love everything. But would also love an in app calculator :)

This is the best bank ever. I switched from Wells Fargo about a year ago when they tried to charge me $5 for a money order the gas station would do for 99 cents. It takes a few weeks to get things rolling because they don't have a brick and mortar location so everything is done through the mail and app. This will be the best banking decision you'll ever make. No more fees and an extremely friendly banking staff. Very easy to get in touch with your banker and problems are handled in minutes! You can't buy checks from them but if you do need to send one they will write it out and mail it for you free of charge they don't even charge for the stamp to mail your check!

Simple is banking if Apple did banking. The app is great, their support is top notch, and the goals will change how you manage your money. Couldn't recommend more highly.

I'm basically satisfied using Simple Bank. The app is clean, straightforward, and easy to use. I've interacted with customer service a few times and have been pretty happy. The downside comes to moving money around. Deposits take days to complete- you get a notification within a few hours that, for example, a mobile check deposit has been "accepted," but then it takes several more business days to clear and post to your account. Additionally, the inability to deposit cash in an ATM is a HUGE drawback to me. You can withdraw cash, for a fee, but can't deposit anywhere. I've read on the FAQ page that Simple suggests purchasing a money order (again, with a fee), endorsing it to yourself, and then using the mobile check deposit feature to credit the funds to your account. How archaic and run-around! I've been trying to move away from the big banks but am not sure how feasible it is to stay with Simple because of these drawbacks.
