I chose Simple after getting back on my feet after being homeless for a short period. After seven months of banking with them, I've been able to set aside over $3k in just emergency cash and I'm able to set aside money each month to put into my savings. I have never known what it was like to not live paycheck to paycheck, but since banking with them, they've really helped my financial situation. The staff members are truly great people who want to help you. I had issues getting my card sent to me due to not being a permanent resident at the apartment I was staying at, and they overnighted a card to me to make sure it got to me. If you have horrible spending habits or just need some extra help, Simple is the way to go.

I love the ability to separate cash for goals. Also like the picture, check deposit feature. I've never had any problems with the app no bugs.

Okay. I feel like someone needs to address some of these reviews. Don't listen to all the naysayers out there. If you need to talk to someone or if your kids are actually starving, then you can call them directly, speak to a real person immediately, and get your accounts settled up. Simple even issued me a temporary credit that fell off my account about 2 weeks later to tie me over while one refund (which was run as credit) was being processed. Also, fun fact for all the naysayers: VISA, MasterCard, etc., THOSE are the companies that actually process refunds. Stores issue them, but the card manufacturers process them. So if you're complaining about refunds taking forever, then blame Visa. Not Simple. As for those who claim that their deposits took nearly a week to process, let's clarify what a "week" actually is. All banks close on federal holidays. It's the law. When banks are closed, no transactions happen during that time, therefore your transaction is posted on the follow business day. From that day, it takes 2-3 days to post. WAY better than Regions or Wells Fargo that takes 3-5 business days. I even had one check take 7 business days to deposit and it was just coming from another Regions account! Overall, Simple is super efficient, easy to use, and unlike some other stalwarts on here, I actually like the updates. That add a new level of innovation and a fresher look to the app. You won't be sorry that you signed up with Simple. The app is great, their customer service is great, and their debit card even looks great! It's just great ?
