Mostly satisfied – Simple - Mobile Banking Review

I'm basically satisfied using Simple Bank. The app is clean, straightforward, and easy to use. I've interacted with customer service a few times and have been pretty happy. The downside comes to moving money around. Deposits take days to complete- you get a notification within a few hours that, for example, a mobile check deposit has been "accepted," but then it takes several more business days to clear and post to your account. Additionally, the inability to deposit cash in an ATM is a HUGE drawback to me. You can withdraw cash, for a fee, but can't deposit anywhere. I've read on the FAQ page that Simple suggests purchasing a money order (again, with a fee), endorsing it to yourself, and then using the mobile check deposit feature to credit the funds to your account. How archaic and run-around! I've been trying to move away from the big banks but am not sure how feasible it is to stay with Simple because of these drawbacks.
