This app's voice control does not work with my iPhone 6s. I'm a software developer so fairly technically inclined but this just doesn't work which defeats the purpose of buying this over competing apps. I'm going to request a refund from Apple.

no there yet...

Works wonderfully when it works... but there are some desparately needed improvements. #1 At the end of a script, skipping to the beginning brings you to the beginning of the text, but the recognition software doesn't seem to work so well after you've done that so you really have to exit the prompter and restart it to have the voice recognition work. #2 The back button to exit the prompter is just way too small. I have tried using it in a small iPhone teleprompter case, and the button is so unresponsive that you have to remove the iphone from the case everytime to address the problems of my first prompt. #3 Clearly the voice recognition gets confused at times and loses sync with what you're saying, there really needs to be either a) word highlighting that lets you know where the app thinks it is in your script, so that if the app gets stuck you know where to read from in order to get it on track again #4 better import filtering... the app turns apostrophes into garbage. If it can't represent apostrophes properly it should at least have the smarts to turn them into a right single quote. #5 more import options. i don't want to use drop box or any of the other options... let me accept imports from files on my iCloud drive. I love the concept of this app... but it's annoying rough edges make it unusable.

Not worth even $0.99

I'm running iOS 10.3.3 on an iPhone 7 plus [Red Edition] Even after tweaking the settings, The text doesn't scroll when play is pressed. Not the VoiceTrack™ NOT EVEN auto cue (scroll) like the free apps. THEN when you click settings (while in preview mode) the WHOLE PHONE FREEZES AND YOU NEED TO RESTART. This seems like a virus to me. Very sad. I had high hopes for this one. I'll try the Parrot Teleprompter app next. It's free!

Crap

Works for half the script and then all of a sudden the program stops listening to your voice. Once in awhile it will work for the whole script

Mixed feelings

The English version is a beauty and works without a hitch. I am native Spanish speaker and the Spanish language voice recognition does not work at all. Send several feedbacks asking for support but nada zilch response

Seriously LOVE it

It really is awesome. The voice track works great for me. And just discovered that it has an audio recording feature so I can hook up a lavalier mic and import the sound and edit it into my video. Thanks guys!

Latest update has bugs

The_Howells

I have used the pro version since early Sept. for a student run tv station, and it has been fantastic. However, since the latest update last week, I can no longer import from Dropbox. This needs to be fixed immediately, and is completely unacceptable when users are paying $14 for this app to work.

Not great

Ericw108

This would be a fantastic app if it would worked consistently, unfortunately it doesn’t. Not only that but the premium remote app that cost an additional $1.99 per month, doesn’t work either. Give it a pass unless you like frustration. For me, waste of money, since I have to replace it with a different prompter

Does not work with iPad external microphone

IdeaworxLew

UPDATE: I reached out to the developers, and as I noted in the last line of my review, I never got a response. The app is useful, but will not work with an external microphone. The microphone, connected by a cable and plugged into the appropriate adapter, works just fine with naive apps ... Siri, voice dictation etc. The app works just fine with the internal iPad microphone, but I need the iPad to be about six feet away, at the camera. When it is that far away, the app works erratically which is why I bought the microphone. The app obviously has access to the iPad, and the external mike works just fine with native apps. I'm on deadline to start an indiegogo campaign and this is the opening video. I am waiting for my support request to be answered.

Nice!

Works better than I’d hoped, especially considering its price.
