I regret buying this app. I wanted to use the feature that follows your voice but it works incredibly poorly. When the text does move it’s not a smooth scroll and is hard to find your place when it jumps down. Other times it doesn’t work at all and you get to the bottom of the text and it does t scroll. My other complaint is that the text size can not be made large enough. You can set size 1-10 and 10 was not big enough. I prefer just one or two words per line so that my eyes dont need to move much. It was such a bad experience I went back to the free app I was using which I liked better. I may inquire about a refund as I feel like I didn’t get what I paid for.

Expensive useless app

Paid for PromptSmart Pro for the VoiceTrack feature and installed it in iPad and iPhone. These feature freezes often making it useless. Issue was not resolved even after using external mic which was previously tested to record on ios devices. Resorted to adding Remote feature which did not work either. Dont waste your money on this app that gives you more stress rather than help you in your presentations ?

Great app but you need to understand how everything works. Afterwards, it’s smooth sailing.

Pro is worse than free

Don’t buy this. Speech tracking works worse on pro. Scroll speed doesn’t adjust. At all. Basic teleprompter thing it can’t do. No speed numbers at all even. Can’t change anything without it breaking. Total waste. Wish I could return this so so bad. Made prepping for auditions much worse.

I purchased this for my youtube channel in Spanish. Unfortunately, it will only follow along your voice if you’re speaking in English. It would be great if they could include other languages.

Remote control and scrolling stops

Still awaiting response - scroll simply stops at times. Can’t figure out why. More importantly, I cannot get the remote control to work. Paid for upgrade and extension but it doesn’t work. Says to connect to my local network which I have.

I made a 900 word, 5 minute script in Google Doc and imported. After the first third, which was perfect, it kept stopping every few lines. Read the instructions. I made a new copy, cleaned out all HIDDEN formatting, (see instructions), and it worked fine.

I don’t often write reviews but I feel it’s necessary given weakness of this app. The voice tracker is the distinguishing feature of this app, how they draw you in to charge you $20 dollars. But it’s crap. It jumps and skips as you read, your eyes are not able to follow along with a screen that’s constantly jumping and skipping down the page. It’s like trying to read from a card being held up by a guy randomly moving it as you read. So we switch off the voice tracker. But even during the auto scroll it will pause and skip. Why??? It’s on auto scroll. How hard is it to program the text to just scroll at a consistent rate. Seems like it would be the most simple feature for any software programmer to get right. Until they fix these issues I think they are just trying to con you for $20.

Voice track stopped working

The app has stopped scrolling with voicetrack.. I deleted and reinstalled the app, still doesn’t work.. My phone’s mic is working fine with other apps.. a Google search for “prompt smart pro voice track stopped working” yielded zero results, except for the prompt smart website.. The help chat on the site is useless because it just keeps asking the same generic questions that everybody already knows, such as “is your microphone connected” or “are you less than 5 feet away”, etc.. Useless.. With voice track working, it’s a 5 star app, but without voice track working, it’s 0 stars, because without voice track, the app is completely useless.. if I figure out a way to get it working, I’ll update back to 5 stars again..

This app doesn’t work

It freezes after one paragraph. Even after I’ve reinstalled it and restated my phone. Totally useless
