Amazing!

The auto follow feature makes this app worth every dollar. The 2-language deal is great as I do work in English and Spanish. I have used a lot of prompting apps and this is the best I have used in more than a decade of struggling with half baked apps at ALL price ranges.

Good, but frustrating

I really love this app. It allows me to record podcasts without anyone else’s help. But the frustration is that if I try to read too much, say over 5 minutes, it stops scrolling. And it has done this over and over, so I am forced to record short segments and stitch them together, which isn’t professional.

The teleprompter skips around a lot while reading. I am enunciating properly and I have a very good mic connected. I sometimes read and the teleprompter doesn’t scroll. Other times the teleprompter skips way ahead of what I was reading. I’m ok with a product not being perfect, but this technology feels like it is in a beta stage. It is not yet ready especially not for the high price. Due to the shortcomings of their technology, the company practically forces you to buy the monthly subscription for the full features (especially to use a phone as a remote control). That feels unethical. The price should be lowered and the remote control should be included at least until the app is fixed.

I love this app and use it often. Two minor things would make it perfect in my opinion. #1 I would love to be able to make the text on the teleprompt larger. There are many scenarios in which I find myself needing bigger text. #2 The automatic text scrolling is an awesome feature. It’s perhaps a bit too sensitive and scrolls when it’s not supposed to at times. Other than that, it’s a home run, and I highly recommend it!

Update: Just got word the developer is updating the app for margins! Good news!! Will look forward to it! Thanks! Original review: I am going to use this with a TelePrompter rig that I ordered from Caddie Buddy. However, there is no way to adjust the margins, that I have found. Why not? Such an easy thing to do. Also why can’t I right align or left align or center as I wish? These are two EASY format preferences that would be so helpful!!! Please, please, please add these! What a glaring oversight! I don’t want my shroud to cover my words. I need some adjustable margins ASAP. Other than that, the voice advance seems to work decently, not perfect, but decently enough. Thanks!

I wanted full access to the full features of the lite app so I bought the pro version. I wanted to use their remote with the app, because the voice recognition software can be flakey at times. I needed the pro version to do this. After buying the app to get "full" access to pro features, I realized I was taken advantage of. The only way to use the remote is to pay an additional monthly fee. I would not have done this if monthly fees were spelled out in the documentation. I feel ripped off. This is deceptive marketing and now I'm out 20 bucks.

Just bought this app and recorded some things using it. So far it works great. I was surprised at how well it tracked with my voice which isn’t nearly as clear as my wife’s. Even when you go off script it picks back up when you return. I even talked with a weird accent and it understood me. Only disappointment is you can’t use the free remote app with it without paying a monthly fee. I don’t think the remote is necessary. I found it works best with my iPhone 7plus phone turned portrait rather than landscape mode or using the iPad. The bigger the screen the more side-to-side eye movement you can see on camera. So far so good!
