This is a lot of fun, and I expect that I need more practice. So far so good. I’m into puppets and there is a lot of change ups. This app sets my hands free to make them more life like. Good job mr modern app!
Trouble importing scripts

I am having trouble importing scripts. I can see the script from google drive but when I click on create, nothing happens. Frustrating to sAy the least. Help!

I work for a large non-profit and we produce videos for videos for marketing and fund-raising all the time. We have a Teleprompter setup for our studio. The app that came with it was terrible. So I went in search for a new app. A little over a year ago I found it! Promptsmart does a great job for all of our projects. The voicetracking feature works great! I have discovered that the model iPad makes a big difference. Newer ones like iPad Pro have better microphones than the older models. It worked most of the time on our iPad Air 2 but now with the iPad Pro it’s flawless. It’s easy to customize the text to suit the talent reading it. Also making on the fly changes is super simple.

In theory it’s awesome........if only it worked. I bought this today and out of the gate it doesn’t work in video record mode. Waste of money. Now I need to see if Apple can refund me. Ugh! Don’t waste your time or money.

I hate this app. I have tried too many times to read a script through it, only for the app to completely freeze after the first minute or two. I have to repeatedly read the entire screen several times before it advances. Complete waste of $16.99.

This prompter is pluperfect, and will allow you to make the best of your speech and presentation. The only thing I’d suggest is coordination or syncing with PowerPoint; however, most presentations need not be so tightly linked. If our current President used PromptSmart, he’d approach intelligible.
Just bought the Pro version.

Confused, I was prompted to set up a login and the only thing the login gives you is a page to sign up for monthly extension plan? I’m new to this app but can this even be used without a subscription???

The voice recognition doesn’t work. It jumps all over the place and yes I read your guidelines. Will be asking apple for a refund. Just got a cheap over the screen TelePrompTer from amazon.
Love this app but needs to import PDFs

I’ve used this app for several years now and love it but it still doesn’t import PDFs. The developer notes have been saying that’s happening soon since I bought the app. Most of my scripts/sides come as pdfs and I’ve been having to retype them into Word first before I can import. Thinking about moving to another app if this doesn’t happen soon.
