Works well until it doesn’t.

I loved this app until it got stuck at a very fast or slow scroll speed. I uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times. Deleted my scripts and it still wouldn’t work. Very frustrating as it worked perfectly last week. Mainly mad that I have to rely on technology to produce content at times. ??‍♂️

So far the voice tracking will simply stop mid sentence And now my finished recordings would not save The program crashes and everything is lost Very disappointing and frustrating

Voice activation randomly hangs

Not worth it. See prior one star reviews on the awful voice activation. Scripts can’t be saved to cloud. Such a terrible app.

I’m at a loss for words at how terrible this is. Incredibly unreliable “voice tracking”. This does no more than apps that are free due to the gross inability to track voice. I’ve even gone as far as to connect a lapel mic to my iPad and it’s still unbelievable how awful it is. I want my money back.

Most Amazing Teleprompter App

This is the best solution EVER for a Teleprompter. Practice the skill and you will be rewarded. Excellent voice control feature, editing and importing scripts. Smooth speed feed flow. Great controls for readings. The customer support cares and is responsive, I know they care about the product. 5 Star , Definitely Recommend, it’s well worth it.

The best- despite a few bugs.

It worked great until I upgraded to the subscription service. Then I started having all kinds of problems. At that point I gave it a one-star review. However, the company has been GREAT about communicating with me. I have found reasonable work-arounds for my main issues, and I have the impression that they are honestly working to correct the remaining bugs. When this thing works it is absolutely amazing. I have tried all the teleprompter apps I can find, and this one is hand-down the best- even with the bugs that remain. I am looking forward to upgrading to a five-star review when they fix my remaining issues. Update- I have been using this for several months. They have still not improved the editing feature (it is very buggie). I payed for the extended version because I wanted the script assist feature which is supposed to allow you to place cues within <brackets> and have the script skip over these when reading. If this feature is enabled it causes many issues like randomly jumping to the top of the page. The extended version is just not worth it for my money. Still, it is the best teleprompter app out there. Update- They fixed everything. Five stars! I am so happy with it now!!!!!

Be warned. If your screen locks during the extremely fragile “saving video” phase, which takes forever, then you lose the entire video. Just lost an incredibly important shoot. Poof. Gone forever.

When it works it’s brilliant

The video recording feature is great...when it works. I’ve lost an absurd # of recordings where I’ll finish a script and it tells me that the video has been saved, but then it’s gone. If they can get the video recording function to be more reliable, then it’s worth every penny.

Warning. Do not write your scripts in the app

Unless you’re a fan of losing hours of work, never write your scripts in the app. I had several scripts inexplicably disappear despite saving them.

LiveScroll moves too fast

I am reading with Live Scroll feature and the text moves up before I even finish in the guide. Also, there is no ability to change center of text. I’d like to move the text to the bottom of the screen so it matches my camera lens.
