Bad UX and functionality.

Drewskiwin

I barely use the app. Maybe 2-3 times a year and when I do use it I expect it to be performant and reliable. There’s a bug when editing a card message. And I was forced to use the website when it should be more convenient to just use the app. If you select a gift and choose a recipient and try to edit a message on the card, after editing tapping the done button does not dismiss the keyboard at all. Even if you copy and paste text you’ve pre-written still tapping done does not dismiss the keyboard and since the continue button is hidden behind the keyboard, there is no way to advance. Consider putting the continue button in the top right corner or connecting the return key on the keyboard to also advance to the next step.

Poor functionality

I love this app! When it works... which is why I’m giving it two stars... problem is, as stated before by others, once you’re done editing the card you cannot select done. Can’t proceed, cannot pass go... so it brings the joy of sending flowers to loved ones to a screeching halt.

Bah humbug!!

ProFlowers No More

This must be Proflowers slogan. Ordered flowers for our mother every Christmas Day for ten years. This Christmas was no different until we found out that the flowers aren’t delivered - the order had been cancelled without any notice and no explanation! When we tried to have the order re-shipped, they wanted to charge us a higher price for the flowers and an additional shipping charge above what we had already selected. Customer service was completely non-responsive and very poor. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they said none was available (really?!) They’ve offered to call us back in a few days to discuss - some help that would be. After many years of 8-10 orders a year, ProFlowers has lost a customer!!

Don’t waste your time with their “app”

Somehow in 2018, their app and their website still do NOT sync up. Meaning, if you use a computer to place an order, but want to track it from the mobile app, nope. Not going to happen. The app is a pain, especially when it comes to filling out the card. At times it’ll give an error stating that an “,” and or an “!” are not normal characters and will continue to error. So, remove all of them. Still gives the error. Just use the website via Safari.

Barely a 1 Star

Work stinks but pays well

I’ve uninstalled several times and it never shows my current orders. Only orders that have been delivered previously from several years ago. No point to installing until it’s fixed.

The WORST service for ANYTHING, EVER.

I never use ProFlowers again..the operational team could be replaced with simple lichens and algae which would undoubtedly add a great deal to their in-house cognitive assets. 1. Upon ordering in the app I received an “order number”, confirmation, and user ID number, that no one at the company could reference in their system. Not even the right amount of digits. 2. The reps on the phone could not only barely speak the language, but presumably were given a VOIP system based on Campbell soup cans and string. 3. Impossible to get transferred to a manager or English as a eighth language rep. Likewise, no chat option for keeping it in writing. 5. Given three different confirmation emails with three different delivery dates listed...none of them the one I specified, 6. Somehow they randomly populated some random address in California as my billing address..in which I have never lived nor know anybody who has. 7. I paid for early morning delivery, had to call five times over two days and kept getting conflicting answers as to even the right day. 8. They (thankfully) handed the delivery off to FedEx so I ultimately corrected it with them directly...but they were going to originally try for delivery at 8pm after business hours at a standard company. Mind you...they have a perishable product. 9. They emailed me today and said it was both delivered and delayed until tomorrow in a matter of 10 minutes...45 minutes after it was delivered because I have a buddy who works at FedEx. This company is pathetic. Do yourself a favor and never, ever, consider using them.

Awesome Customer Service!!!

Okay, so maybe the app isn’t all perfect and could use some tweaking... but the customer service at ProFlowers is Awesome! It totally makes up for what small tweaks the app needs. I placed an order the day before Valentine’s Day... as you ladies know us guys sometimes so that. I made a mistake on the address, realized it after it shipped of course, and the folks at this company made sure my order was corrected without any issues. Major bonus points to them. Bottom line, I don’t write 5 Star reviews unless a company really stands out above the rest and these folks really do.

No option to Keep Shopping

There does not seem to be a way to send multiple gifts to the same person.

Service great, app - TERRIBLE!

PeterNNJ

Their app is so terrible, I don’t know where to begin! In this day & age, why does it not support Apple Pay? It doesn’t even support Apple’s encrypted card support. Instead it has this lame thing to scan you credit card which simply doesn’t work! Then, I got an error in submitting my order says “There are invalid characters in your gift message” - want to know what the “invalid character” was? An apostrophe in “Mother’s Day!” C’mon man, you can to better than this! It’s as dysfunctional as an Android app! ???

Flakey customer service

Toomuchtimeonmyiphone

I used this app to order flowers for Mother’s Day. Soon after, I received an email suggesting my credit card had been declined. I contacted customer service and was assured there was no problem with the order or the card, then received another email the following day saying my order was cancelled. Not worth the trouble.
