Priceline usually has the best prices . I’m happy with all my Experience expect for one car rental experience that I still hate them for. Besides that I always compare other prices to Priceline and 7 out of 10 times they have the best prices.

UPDATE: Their response was that I can always reach Customer Service at 1-800-774-2354, which is a lie because that was one of 4 phone numbers I called and got transferred right back to the Frontier Airlines which couldn’t fix the problem because it was on Priceline’s end!!!!!!! I have been a Priceline VIP for over 10 years, every time I have a problem with Priceline I can NEVER SPEAK TO A LIVE AGENT!!! I purchased a flight through Priceline for a flight to Denver and return flight to Raleigh and purchased a seat when the reservation was made ($60) which Frontier Airlines says no seat was purchased and Priceline says it shows on their end so I have to call the airline to fix the problem even though they were told that Frontier doesn’t show I purchased a seat!! I spent 2 1/5 hours trying to speak with someone at Priceline and finally reached a live agent to be told that they show the seat reservation on their end and after arguing with said live agent I asked to be transferred to a supervisor who then tells me that he doesn’t see the $60 seat reservation so the call is escalated again to someone else who finally calls Frontier to be told by them that they don’t show a seat reservation for me, which Priceline was told by me several times, and so now they will send an email to the accounting department to request a refund of the $60 which will take 3-5 business days. I will never book another flight through Priceline!!! You cannot ever reach a live agent to handle a problem on Priceline’s end. I seriously doubt they even care that they are about to lose a VIP customer!!!!

When you pick up your rental car! On February 10, I totaled my car on my way to work. Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt, but I was VISIBLY bruised & sore from air bag striking my face & chest, but grateful to be alive! I am 65 years old. I rented a car online through Priceline from Avis at Austin Bergstrom Airport. Although I put my credit card info in the online reservation & had my photo ID, the Avis rep said I could NOT pick up a vehicle without a physical copy of my credit card to swipe. WOW! My friend had to drive back to the airport to pick me up & take me to get my card and then drive me back to airport for a second time. Big waste of time & gas! The Avis rep who refused to give me a car advised me to CANCEL the reservation which I did online. I returned two hours later & waited in a second long line to confirm with Avis agent that my original reservation was CANCELED before making a second reservation online. Stood in a long line for third time & finally picked up a car 4+ hours after initially arriving at the airport. It’s no surprise that I was charged TWICE for the rental. What is surprising is the numbers of calls I have made to both Priceline & Avis about a refund. Priceline phone representatives and their chat agents have NOT been helpful or empathetic. If I have to dispute this bill with my credit card company, I will, but will NEVER book through Priceline again!

Make sure when you book airfare and a hotel, that all guest are included. I have got a package for the people, 3 flights, but when I get to the hotel I must’ve left the child somewhere because she wasn’t included in the hotel stay. I call then I was bounced from Priceline to Booking. I never booked anything with Booking but they have some sort of arrangement and my daughter wasn’t added. Seems stupid. Never got a result and never got anywhere with either party. Not even worth the hassle because I ended up paying more after said and done.
