Love this app!

I book all my stays on this app. Never booked any travels by train or plane but I have booked some hotels. Great app. I use it for all my trips. All these other apps just don’t do it for me but Priceline is perfect. I love the option on some bookings where you can book and pay later, sometimes there are one time deals while you’re scrolling. It’s very informative. One thing I don’t like about the app is that when you scroll down, press on a place that looks decent, then press the back button and you’re now back on the top of the list again. You have to scroll down so much to find out where you left off, and that everytime.

My Last Priceline Trip

ACSpinner

I have one more trip planned and then I delete my app. 1. Express Deals are not what they seem. Punitive change and cancellation policies. 2. Priceline farms out their customer service to the car rental companies. 3. They make no effort to screen the policies and state clearly to us.

Priceline loses another customer

I just had one of the worst stays I have ever had and I had to check out early because it was so bad. Priceline literally would not do anything for me. It sounded like someone was bowling upstairs and I cannot sleep all night. It was -5°C and the heater also did not work. I had to run the hot water and let it steam up to even make it tolerable while bundled up in all of my warm clothes and the blanket. I talked with Customer Service and they would do nothing for me besides offer me a 15% coupon. I’m using Agoda from now on I will never use Priceline ever again and I am a price line VIP gold. I missed platinum by one booking last year. Prices are cheaper on Agoda anyways

Unreliable and Unprofessional

NEVER USING PRICELINE AGAIN. My name is Tasha Glover, I am an Officer in the United States Army and I am also currently stationed in South Korea. I’m very upset about how I was treated adjusting my travel plans due to COVID. On two separate occasions, Priceline tried to take advantage of my family’s change of flight due to COVID and violate HIPPA. Bottomline upfront, I tested positive for COVID-19 on 23 DEC 2021, I went to the hospital and had a fever of 103 for 3 days and my wife later had COVID right after that. On the 28th of December 2021, I called the company and asked to receive credit for the flight due to us not being able to have a PCR test to fly internationally to Korea. Canceling the flight was never the issue. I received emails of the cancellation and the credit received. It was rescheduling each time. Fast forward two weeks later, my family received word of a death in the family. My spouse and I decided to get a COVID test and fly out to LAX because we felt better and to go to their funeral. We also wanted to fly from LAX to Korea (ICN) because I needed to return home from leave. My family and i did the right thing for the people flying around us and our family members and got a COVID test prior to our flight 10JAN2022. Keep in mind, each flight I bought had insurance - just in case. We took the test on the 07JAN22 and we’re told it may take 2 days to receive results. We also booked the flight the on the 07JAN2022. Wedid not receive results for our COVID test until the afternoon of 10 JAN 2022, our flight was in the morning so on 09JAN2022 at 1130PM i tried to cancel the flight. After an hour or so on the phone with the rep, I was able to cancel the flight and received credit. Now, it’s 10JAN2022. My family and i receive NEGATIVE test results and we are ready to go home and attend a funeral. I call Priceline. Not once, not twice, 36 times and 15 representatives in a matter of 4 days to re-book tickets for both flights. Keep in mind, i knew exactly what flight i wanted that Monday to re-book both flights. It was around the same price range as my previous flights and i was comfortable with those changes. Every representative had a different answer to what they could do, some would say i never received an email with my credit, some would say it was a mistake to receive credit, some would say they couldn’t process the ticket because i already flew there, or that they couldn’t schedule the flight because Hawaiian airlines had control over it(called Hawaiian and they said the same) which was bad communication on the agency and the airline part) some rescheduled for the flight for the one i already had on 10JAN22, some would even say i needed proof of my medical documentation from the hospital which has my personal and health information which is in violation of HIPAA. I also was told they would investigate the problem and call me back within 24 hours and never received a call back. I also asked to receive a refund because by the 36th time i was exhausted and just wanted nothing to do with you all. A representative said that they would charge me $300 per person to receive a refund which was ridiculous because this was not my fault. I called before, and after a funeral all for each and every representative to say “that’s all i can do.” I just wanted to go home and be with my family during our time of loss. I knew what days i wanted the flights as soon as i tested negative. I’m in the military and i have no reason to lie and i also have to report home in Korea on a certain date and Priceline made me late. I ended up using TRAVELOCITY and booking my flights to make my flights back to LAX to attend a funeral and ICN to return home. I would like to speak to someone about compensation or a refund. I do not want to use Priceline after this encounter. This was totally unprofessional and i can’t trust that i could make any flight plans after this encounter. Please email me at your earliest convenience or call me on international number. Your Facebook message has my information. Respectfully, Tasha Glover

Priceline app/website easy to use

Phynyx73

I am a fairly new member with Priceline. My experiences with their website and app were comparable. The app can use a little more filter options for specific searches ie: pet friendly, updated pics from hotels/motels. The most recent motel Island Breeze Inn (Venice, FL) showed such nice pictures but the actual room we ended up getting was old and needed repairs. The towels were smaller than ones I have seen at most hotels/motels and price was fairly high for such an old motel… Overall, I am pleased with my membership and the website/app.

Stay now pay twice!!!

mrburos

I’ve tried to use the “stay now pay later” offer. I get to the hotel and I still have to pay when I get there, Then!!!! Priceline bills my card for the room again claiming the stay now pay later. I emailed a copy of my receipt but they still dinged my account for the room in 4 monthly payments. This happened 3 times now. Had to call the bank and eventually got my money back but what a pain in the rear!!

I’m stoked!
