The app use to work a lot better. Now, if one covering is open and you want to open all in a room, it closes the open one and then you have to re-select the open swipe to get them to open or open each individually. PLEASE FIX!

This is fine if you have everything on one hub and are savvy to apps and networks. It’s a living nightmare for novices though. So stupid that you have to reset to change the WiFi, and everything resets with it.

Using this app is a major lifestyle improvement. I have many, huge windows, southern and western exposure. I like as much daylight as I can get. Running the 6 timed automations I’ve set up allows me to not worry about maximizing my air conditioning with blinds closed when I need them, open otherwise, or vanes open. Also, the weather often changes during the day. I love that when the bright sun comes out I can close blinds remotely.

I have some top down shades. When integrating with HomeKit the open/closed states are backwards. If you create a scene in HomeKit the positions are correct. As soon as you open PowerView and “fix conflicts” the top down shade positions are reversed. If you create the scene in PowerView, the HomeKit version will be backwards.

I’ve read some real negative reviews on this ap, the only thing I can think is that these people didn’t take the time to set it up correctly. For me it does everything I would hope and then some. I have complete control of my house, can set whatever seen exactly as I want. I can’t think of anything else I would want to do with my blinds and shades.

I love my powerview shades! When I first installed them I exclusively used the pebble remote but as I’ve added more and more (up to 27 now), I prefer to use the app for more precise control. I also have them connected to my amazon Alexa so most of the time I just tell Alexa to do her thing and the shades go up!

How this isn’t working with Apple and Google is beyond me... had I known, I wouldn’t have purchased these shades to begin with. This is the only product that still needs to be controlled via its own app or a clunky way in Google Home.

Agree with other reviewers- basically does not work. Is garbage. They should be embarrassed to put out something this unreliable.

And sometimes they don’t. Other times, they spontaneously respond an hour or two later. You never really know what to expect with these shades and the PowerView app.
