Our large office windows face the south so we take advantage of programming the Duette shades so that our employees are comfortable all day long.
Non working wifi setup

Cannot connect through wifi. Pressing “Configure” on the wifi hub doesn’t do anything. Ethernet still works.
Great blinds but needs better app functions

The blinds are fantastic. Home automation is excellent for programming a schedule and voice interaction with Alexa however it would be even better if you would make a widget or shortcut button to use on iPhone instead of having to open app every time. And connectivity with Alarm.com so blinds will close with arming of house alarm when away.

We’ve been living with the PowerView shades in our new house for about 3 months. We’ve developed several scenes and automations, and continue to figure out how we live and interact with light and outside heat/cold. Even though we’re still evolving, we love the motorized shades. In fact, we’ve said they’re probably the most underrated item in our new house, we didn’t think we would love them as much as we do. They’re costly, but if you can afford them, DO IT!

These were put in before we moved in. The contractor, the realtor, the lady watching the house all had a blast working these shades up-down/ up-down & filters at all angles. On the useful side - don’t know how I got along with out them.
Doesn’t Connect to Alexa

These are better than sliced bread. With the power closure never touch them. No problems. Knock on wood.
Inconsistent

We have 12 shades in this system and about 75% of the time one of the shades doesn’t open or close completely when running on the schedule in the app. Fresh batteries, additional hubs nothing helps. Love it when it works but very frustrating with the inconsistency.
Excellent app and blind!

We outfitted our condo with six Hunter Douglas blinds and they are amazing! The Powerview app is incredible, too. I can control our blinds with Siri, my iPhone, and my HomePods. I could not recommend Hunter Douglas or the Powerview app any more highly!??
