Stopped working without informing me

Gohar A

I’ve a premium subscription. Installed everything correctly on child's iPad. Even further enabled Apple restrictions so that child can’t mess around with ourpact. It was working fine but one day the child deleted OurPact profile and voila everything stopped working. Apps are back, no screen time. All restrictions are gone and kid is enjoying Instagram non stop. Non only this, my parent app never told me that it’s unable to connect to the child’s iPad. It’s showing that everything is working perfect. Showing the outdated list of apps installed and blocked. I came to know really late only after manually checking the iPad. First thing I did was, canceled the premium subscription of ourpact. I was paying the hefty subscription charges for this crap. I’m now back to using Apple’s built in restrictions. Apple’s screen time and down time is great and FREE. Thank you OurPact for deceiving me and showing me the right parental tools (Apple’s builtin). Keep it up!

Thought it was great

Apple version allows too many ways for kids to circumvent. Ultimately, nothing replaces getting off your rear end and taking the phone from them. Not worth the subscription price.

It’s cool

But this app you need to pay to do every other thing

Child figured out how to disable.

jjmariek

My child figured out how to disable via YouTube under the phone’s settings. Cancelled the premium service after a week due to that. Wish there was a way to control that option. Trying to talk to them about it doesn’t help. It’s just easier to take the phone away.

Not happy

UpNsmOke

I subscribed to the basic package just to be able to block her phone time and grant phone time with no limits. Every time I unblocked her phone her apps would be in a different place. Unfortunately if u want to avoid app scrambling u have to purchase the most expensive subscription.

Terrible

alexarae101

It deletes your child’s apps randomly. I’m talking about apps like the App Store, safari, iTunes, and even the music app. I don’t recommend this app at all. My child had this and she lost the iTunes Store, the music app, and so much more and there is no way to get them back. Please do not buy this!!!

Good App

lmoo001

This is an extremely helpful application and has helped monitor activities. One issue is the application moves apps around on the other screen even when locked in on the Jr. app. It also has blocked some sites that I do allow, I was able to fix that with “allowing always” but it’s a slight inconvenience. Otherwise it’s a good app and easy to get set up.

This is misused

Johny-Boi!

I believe that this app is abused by parents who use it as a punishment rather that a screen time limitation. It should be fixed to where it can only be set for timers or only certain hours of the day, but never 24/7. I hope this is put into consideration for the next update and thanks for your time.

Ok

I had our pact for 3year or more but it’s hard to plug your phone to the computer to access premium I pay monthly premium and I didn’t get access to it because recently I bought a laptop so I don’t know why pay something that was not compatible with my laptop I think if you pay premium everything should be open for you to browse that’s why your actually paying right the main reason am leaving is because I send a request to their team to help me and I never received an answer from their support team this is why am leaving this app I don’t recommended And this is why I give it two stars
