I’m a little unhappy.

So after about a week of having the app my daughters phone began to malfunction. The SIM card was reading invalid. I called Boost customer service and the issue couldn’t be resolved so I purchased a new SIM card. When I installed the new SIM card boost was unable to program and activate it. While waiting on hold for a technician something told me to remove the app entirely from my daughters phone. Once I did that the phone automatically programmed to the SIM card. This should not be happening. The app is basically disabling my child’s phone service altogether. I pretty much wasted $10 on a new SIM card for nothing.

Beware! Poor parent experience

Nearly impossible to setup once upgraded to premium. Support docs only provide details where to go fir iOS setup with no directions once there. Why premium? you basically have to upgrade as the free features are very limited. Very disappointed. Now spending hours trying to remove app and support documentation is not detailed.

Okay for young kids

I have this on both my teenage son and 10year old daughter iPhones. His is iPhone XR and hers and iPhone 11. It works well, I have the preferred plan that I pay monthly for. I had this for a little while and used it to entice my kids to get their school work and chores done and I didn’t get home until later in the evening and don’t like to come home barking orders. Also, my teenager has a real hard time realizing that bedtime doesn’t mean you just shut off the lights and play on your phone but that you actually go to sleep! This worked for a while until he realized that if you turn your phone off and back on the “block” feature resets on its own to “granted.” I can still make it a mild inconvenience for him to continuously block his apps after restarting his phone but that only works whilst IM awake. Suffice it to say, this doesn’t work for him anymore. I am currently searching for a better app for my defiant teenager since beating him is illegal but will stick with this one for my youngest!

Have paid for upgrade, but won’t work even after spending hours following the steps exactly for setup.

So the app logged me off, and won’t let me log in. My daughters phone was turned off prior to the app shutting down so now i can’t turn it back on without deleting the profile on her phone. Ridiculous.

I paid for the subscription and I was very disappointed. I don’t feel like it monitored the internet use. It did show any new apps downloaded. The location tracker never worked on my kids phones. They couldn’t even go into their settings to get on WiFi. I had to log into Our Pact Jr on their phone just to access their settings. I found a different app that shows detailed reports of their activity and costs the same.

Really frustrating these apps that say free to download with in app purchases - when really all that means is there's basically zero functionality UNLESS you upgrade to premium monthly subscription. The whole reason someone would download this app is to use the features they deem "premium". Also- connecting it to my child's app didn't work even after troubleshooting.

Spent over 2 hours trying to get this app downloaded. Told me to connect my kid’s phones. Did that. Still won’t work. Worst app ever.

I downloaded this app trying to find a way to keep myself off the phone late at night. Overall it was working at first, until I connected to my own device. Once I had left the app, I wasn’t aloud back in because “this service is temporarily blocked”. My go to instinct was to just delete the app and get things over with, but when I did... poof. Everything... gone. My apps were gone, my layout was destroyed, and to top it off, I was still blocked. It took me and extra 30 minutes to finally find a way to deactivate the blocker from a whole other device. To my suggestion, find any app but this one.

I haven’t used the app but I was wondering am I able to monitor my child text messages and photos taking? Also are they able to delete the app?
