What a nightmare!

App was recommended by a medical professional. Bought the premium plan over 3 months ago and still haven’t been able to fully use all features. My son’s phone keeps unpairing, even when not in use. Reached out via email (company doesn’t have phone support), received generic answer, same as on the web. Very frustrating because it seemed like a good app. Cancelled my membership.

Can’t use it anymore

I initially got this app because I struggle with putting my phone down and going to bed at night. I get stuck scrolling through social media or whatever, so I was looking for an app where I could schedule times to help force myself off my phone. The first time I used it, it worked like a dream, except when my apps were turned back on they were scrambled everywhere. I googled the issue and was told to download another app, and after I did that, I was able to use this app and it worked great. However, now, the other app I downloaded is defunct, so every time I use OurPact, my apps end up all over the place. It’s a mess. I googled again, and apparently my options are to either pay $7 a month for premium, or reorganize my apps every day. So I’m choosing a third option: I’m deleting the app. I’m really disappointed because this app has been a really lifesaver (or sleepsaver) for me. But now I either have to pay what I would consider way too much or spend 30 minutes every day putting my apps back in their spot. Apparently if I was an Android user, I wouldn’t have the issue. Doesn’t quite seem fair.

If you want a way to ruin your child’s life, I HIGHLY recommend this app. There’s no “pact” in this, it’s a one sided thing that I guarantee will make your children distrust you. Having the power to turn off all devices is TOXIC. I said what I said.

Hey parents do you love your kids? If the answer is yes, don’t download this app! Well if you are a good kid and you do homework and stuff with your phone you don’t deserve this app. If you are a kid who does bad and humiliatingly stuff on your hone you do need this app! But I am one of this good kids. My selfish parents blame me time by time saying I really wasn’t doing my homework on my phone. So they got this selfish app when I had no Idea it was on my phone. Then when I came home from school a two hour drive on the bus. Well on the bus it’s to bumpy to do homework. Then I went into my room and went onto google to help me get threw my homework. Soon it shut off I had no idea! Soon I went to my parents and said what happens to my phone?! They said “ Oh well it’s to keep you off your phone”. I said to them... “But I was only doing my homework and reading on it on iBooks”?! Anyways they didn't care about me doing good in school. So don’t get this app kids and parents. Let us have fun on our phones doing homework and reading let us text to our friends and not half to worry about that terrible app shutting our phones. But I am going to say this while I’m at it. Phones are like a drug they get you addicted to games and stuff like that and all you want is more and more. So if you are a gamer just saying your pretty much rotting your brain. Even all the phone makers know how bad it is so they don’t even let their kids on games. Lol sorry just had to throw that out. Cus some parents are to stupid to even tell their kids that. So they just rot their brains all day playing video games.

Great with Android. Complicated to set up for iPhone iOS

I set up with my sons Android in 5 minutes. I tried for a couple of hours to set up on iPhones of the other two kids but could never get premium service set up. Just the free version. So if your kid has an iPhone you may want to look for another app.

This app takes a minute or 20 to set up but it actually works! Good stuff.

I purchased the upgrade, but the benefits are not accessible. The description states I’d have access to other features, but it’s not working.

Make sure you have a backup

Try to remove this from a child’s phone. It didn’t work. Could I hide apps and the removal instructions didn’t work. Reach out to support never heard back. Had to do a complete iPhone erase and reset to get it off the phone.

I love this app but I’m still missing the huge thing I wish it had! A website monitor so I can see what sites my kids are accessing. Please add this soon!
