Isn’t Consistent

We’ve had this app since September 2019. We paid for the premium service because we have 3 kids and wanted to be able to track location. It works pretty well until it says the phone can’t be located. Then it takes forever to change any access settings and even sometimes miscounts time usage. Or just says “pending”. If you follow the instructions to “reset” the phone, it rarely works. If you message support, they give you the same instructions it does on the app. We have an iPhone and two different androids and it’s lost all three, however, iPhone seems to stay connected better. If you are using the free version it’s good but It’s not worth paying for the premium service. Will be canceling.

24 Hour lockout while payment processes

I am again locked out for 24 hours while payment comes out of my account and I can’t unlock my child’s phone and she is at work and can’t message me. This is a huge fail in this application and needs to be fixed. I should never not be able to control my child’s phone while y’all take out payment. I complained of this last year and even canceled my service but recently found a need for an app to lock my children’s phones but find this has not been taken into consideration and been fixed. If something happens to my child while her phone is locked out I will be during the developer for not fixing this flaw. You have a month to get it fixed or I will also be seeing for not getting the service I pay for for the entire month.

Horrible process and explanations

This app may work well when installed, but the installation process is tortuous and very poorly explained throughout. There is tremendous confusion on on which device each step should be taken and I got stuck with no help halfway through. I cannot believe this cannot be made simpler. After following the complicated process now I cannot re-pair the device. Sent email for support, no answer yet, 5 days after asking for help. It is not inexpensive either. Do bot recommend.

This app is an is too strict on our kids today! There is no need for an app this strict. It's an embarrassment to kids. Just imagine going to school with certain apps off because your parents can't trust you to stay of your phone during class. And it's even worse when you haven't done anything to betray there trust.

My son figured out how to work-around the app and get to Google and all sorts of inappropriate sites. Do not subscribe.

Very buggy app, made device unusable

My kids’ device kept freezing and crashing, plus the app is utterly useless if you don’t first connect the device to a computer. So glad I realized how awful this app is before the subscription started. This is a terrible app and way overpriced. $7 a month is highway robbery for this garbage.

Works but can be removed by kids

We’ve used this app for years and have been very happy with the ability to manage our kids’ devices. Unfortunately, my kids have discovered how to remove the ourpact profile giving them full access to their phones, It’s hard to believe that it’s not more difficult to remove. Works great for younger kids, teens are too smart for it...

I had Our Pact and just cancelled my subscription a little less than a month ago, thinking I had found an app where I could monitor texting. Our pact wasn’t allowing me to do that due to privacy. Is this still an issue with apple products? It turns out the app I switched to also has issues with apple’s privacy policy. I would like to return but not unless I can access everything explained in the description.

This app would be the best ever if it would just add the ability to see my child’s internet history. I hope that they come out with an updated version that enables internet tracking. Until they do, I will have to use a different app.
