Crashes constantly and does not sync reliably

If it just worked it would be great but the stability and sync issues are ongoing and if anything getting worse. I wish they would fix them as the Health Kit integration and Bluetooth sync are valuable. Customer support is unresponsive and limited hours. Disappointing to see such a promising app let down by poor quality control and lack of devops discipline. How hard is it to properly test an app will stay open for more than 2 seconds on an iPhone X running current iOS?

I have been using this app for a year and now when I try to log my data it crashes I can’t get the app to open. Pretty big problem since i use this for logging all my data.. need this fixed asap. Using an iPhone 8 Plus
What happened? Constant crashes.

I have gone from “everything works great” to “I can’t even get to to stay open for five seconds” even after the latest update. Crash on launch. Crash when I tried to agree to the new terms. Reset phone. Crash at home screen. About five seconds is all I get. What’s going on?!?!

Latest update is causing this app to crash. When it worked I used it consistently and left my old GlucoseBuddy app in the electronic dustbin.

Update: works great now. I got a message saying it was a server issue. //////// Thanks for this useful application. However, this latest update is constantly crashing on iPhone X with latest OS as of 6/1/18. Otherwise, I’d rate previous version as a solid four star rating. New features in this update sound great, but app won’t stay open long enough for me to try out.
Changed rating to five stars after problem with update fixed in less than 24 Hr

I really wanted to try the product and the app. But decided against it because of the ratings and reviews on Apple’s website and Amazon. The price of the meter is good, even though insurances refuse to cover it. But seeing that I would also be fully responsible for paying for strips and lancets, I want to be confident that I’m getting a good product. I’m not comfortable with the forced subscription either. So I opted for another smart meter. Uninstalling.
