Difficult to decipher

Disgusted with app

This app is difficult to decipher, difficult to navigate and I keep locating icons that try to sell me a system. Why would I want to pay $99 plus a monthly fee ( varies) for a system before I learn to navigate the app. Help leans heavily on how to manage the purchased items... so I cannot speak to that, but I do not believe that I need a diabetes expert to help me learn to use an app. Perhaps a manual that gives pointers to persons not familiar with this app and perhaps simple for persons who are less app-literate.

I have only been using this for a couple of days but have run into some roadblocks. Entering food items is very cumbersome. When using barcodes it seems to be fine. But there is no way to create and enter recipes prepared at home. This should be an important feature. Foods already entered haven’t been saved or are simply not easily available. I don’t want to share any of my data with random people. Seeing information about other people is neither helpful or relevant. There should be a way to turn that off. I hope it gets better!
