That's what I need to better understand my location and destination

There’s so much to like about this app that I wish they would fix the glaring problems. Note: I’m a bus rider, not really using the trains part of the app, so that’s my background when it comes to reviewing the app. Good things: 1. Favorite stops so you can see the arriving buses, including being able to click on them to see where they are on a map. 2. Fairly easy to use. 3. Has a lot of features. Bad things: 1. No support for Apple Wallet. That would make things SO much easier. 2. Logging you out ALL THE TIME! This is so frustrating and can actually delay boarding the bus when it logs you out right before you need to show your ticket. Fix this, NJT! There’s no reason to kick us out once a day or more! 3. The daily pass freezing on yesterday’s color and the clock freezing. The only way to fix this is to force-quit the app which, guess what, logs you out. So, if frozen, you get delayed while you log back in. If no internet, you can’t open up your ticket. If wearing a mask, you have to type in a long password since FaceID doesn’t work. This aggressive log out thing is the major flaw in the app. It slows down boarding, leads to worry that you won’t have access to your ticket, and just generally breaks what is otherwise a pretty good experience using the app. Stop kicking us out! Or, if you can’t fix this and make the app reliable for daily use, support Apple Wallet so we don’t even need to regularly open the NJT app. I didn’t factor into my rating the fact that the data for arriving buses is often wrong, since that probably isn’t the app’s fault. But, it is frustrating when the app says a bus is coming, then it doesn’t come. Or, when it says there is NOT a bus coming, so you take your time to get to the stop to catch the next bus and see you just missed the “ghost” bus that the app didn’t include. Please fix the log out issue, NJT.

Compared to years before this app has gotten better but lately I seem to run into non stop issues where I’m arguing with bus drivers over this app’s incompetence. If I pay for a monthly pass, the app should naturally refresh daily without me having to login and if there is some kind of error such as the wrong day showing or the app not flashing than the app should naturally log you out. I don’t understand why this is so difficult

Very reliable. Bus zones are tricky to figure out. Should tie stations to gps as you have no way to find your stop.

The NJ Transit TVM’s (Ticket Vending Machines) accept Discover, but when you try to buy a ticket using the NJT app, and you want to use Apple Pay, and Discover is set as your default payment card, it won’t work. “Payment Method not accepted”. Get your act together NJ Transit! Why is it that Discover is accepted by your TVM’s in stations, but not in your app using Apple Pay? Ridiculous! What difference does it make?
