Did this app ever work?

Is this app still even being supported? The last update was 11 months ago. I just started using this app and have been running into all kinds of problems. For example, had several occasions where the app couldn’t contact the mother ship for bus route information. Every time this happened, all my favorites disappeared and need to be reentered. Think NJ Transit needs a better app development team that actually checks the app before distribution to the public. Get used to the message, "We're sorry. We were unable to process your request at this time."

DepartureVision is not working anymore, but ad bar on the bottom of the screen is a must flawlessly working feature. App is not intended for NJTransit passengers, it's mostly front end for bloated network ad stream. shame, shame, shame


Needs work, but it'll have to do.

It's a must for daily riders, the convenience of whipping out your phone with your bus pass is nice. With that said, bus stop favorites don't work, they're gone the next day. That annoying (*) next to tentative arrival times is the NJT equivalent to ??‍♀️, so you'd better be there early and be prepared to wait.... there's no telling when that bus will show up.

Just terrible. I can't even buy monthly passes on here, my favorites are deleted every few hours.

Is there any way you can put patco freedom pass on to here and we can use our phones to be scanned into to catch the train that way instead of using the card?

As another reviewer commented, the app recently started forgetting user favorites every time you use it. So it went from super useful to pretty much a drag. Also when used the in app contact form to report the issue, I got a response email giving the MyTix phone number, when the issue is not with MyTix (and I’m not going to call a number abut an issue in an app!)


Fix the screen brightness

2/22/2018 - Auto brightness is still not fixed. Worst, even when you press Back, it does not go back to the current brightness setting. It used to. They never listen to feedback of users. * 5/21/17- Auto brightness is still not fixed. Other apps like Starbucks do not have this issue. * 7/21/16 New update yet the brightness problem is still not addressed. You still have to press the Back button. The Home button still retain the brightness and waste your battery. ---------- Please put back the iPhone screen brightness after app lose focus. App will take time displaying the ticket if the signal is weak like in NY Port Authority terminal. Why does it need to communicate with a server if the ticket and the phone are linked? But then, NJT never listens to suggestions. They do these surveys but they never implement any ideas.

This app appears to have been created for the first version of iOS or something. It is in serious need of an overhaul.
