Won't log in

New version doesn't log me in - just sits on the VIN entry screen after the number is entered. No error. No movement. No nothing. Just bad UX.

Took Away Features

Store32Shopper

Looks nicer after about a week of not working during the upgrade, but that's about it. This version does less than the prior version. On the old version, you could send geographic coordinates to your car's navigation system. Now it's only addresses. This is a very big deal for hikers, since trailheads are often trail intersections with roads and don't have physical addresses. I'll probably drop the subscription down to skip the nav features. When the time comes for a new vehicle, I'll be taking a much more detailed look at the infotainment features. Sad to say that after owing Nissan cars for 33 years, this will probably be my last one. Other companies do this stuff better.

Bad before and now it's worse

Alrightandrew

It was pretty lousy to begin with, and now it useless. The start engine, unlock, etc. buttons are gone.

This is ridiculous!

The only thing I have achieved is re-entering my VIN # to the point I almost have it memorized. Get me a user friendly app that I actually use and not be redirected to the owners portal

Doesn't work

James Bong 007

Please don't buy the service because the App will not work. The service does not have any ideal when it will be operational again.

I wouldn't pay for it.

Slow, clumsy, not all features work.

Horrible UI

Incorrect Username

Let's ignore for a second the value of this app. Most annoyingly, that you have to pay $12 monthly for remote start, in what is (at least mine) a $40k car. Sure, it's absurd that we need to pay $150 annually for this, but that much is obvious. Let's also ignore how much this app fails to utilize iPhone features. Most glaringly, it lacks an Apple Watch app. I'd much prefer turn my car on from my watch than my phone. You know, if I was stupid enough to pay $12 a month for that. Instead I'm going to focus on the UX. For one, this is one of the ugliest app icons, probably in history. It's visually painful, with horrid and inconsistent font laid out to look simultaneously plain and cluttered. If this was a design exercise to produce the worst icon, it was a resounding success. The UI of the app is rather poor as well, and looks very dated already. It's really the icon that takes the cake though. It's so unpleasant that I've tucked it into a folder, almost ruining the point of the app.

12$ a month

Why do I pay for a service that doesn’t work? The app is completely awful from a design standpoint. It feels like this was just thrown together last minute with no organization. No watch app?

Upsell gimmick

Guess I should've bought a GM.. Everyone gets access to remote start through an app FREE from them, unlike Nissan who wants me to pay $12 a month for this ability on my 42k. Seriously?! I paid for the remote start already. At $12 month I could put an extended range remote start in my car! Unbelievable. Plus the app hasn't worked for the first 2 months I've had my car thanks to a "Nissan upgrade"

It doesn’t work

The app was updated recently and it just stopped working. When I give the app a command it says Contacting Vehicle and then Initiating Service and it always fail.
