This app doesn't work anymore. It can't connect and keeps saying "the service cannot be provided". It used to be a useful app, but a month ago it just stopped working altogether.

App still not functional - very dissatisfied. Looks like competitor EVs are going to be the way to go. Features and support for this app are lacking.

...but it doesn't consistently work. So now we're going to have to pay to upgrade the cellular data equipment in our Leaf, but not sure what the point is if their app doesn't even work.

Update! App works now!Two things it is missing lock and unlock, heating/cooling control should be more then just on.
Security hole patched hopefully?!!

"Bug fixes" - the new euphemism for "we fixed a security vulnerability that allows anyone to remotely operate your car"? Did they fix it?!! I don't know, because they're too wuss to acknowledge both the problem and the fix on the change log. So is it fixed or what? Be honest.
Finally - access restored & working again!

2Apr2016 - Wow, finally getting back the functionality of this app with their "bug fixes" (talk about an understatement). Good to have these capabilities back. 1Nov2015 - very substantial update. After the last update was just a cosmetic color with and seemingly decreased refresh reliability, I had low expectations. However, so far this seems to be a great improvement. Revamped UI so it's improved AND completely new feature to allow you to see your driving history (# of trips each day, distance, and energy economy of the trips). It also allows you to configure Push notifications for alerts instead of just SMS (I enabled those, but haven't been able to validate yet). Note: After updating you'll have to enter your Nissan Carwings username / password. Better make sure you know what that is first, or you'll end up like the people complaining they can't connect.

Pretty decent app of you have a leaf. Allows you to check the current charging status and estimated completion time. Another cool feature is being able to turn the A/C on and off remotely. This is a feature that comes in really handy considering I live in Arizona. A few things I would possibly add is a feature to not only turn on and off the climate controlled but to adjust the temperature prior to entering the vehicle. Overall I'm satisfied that the app is working again.
