App crashes repeatedly

I used to love my drop cam and nest... i don’t know what happened in recent updates but now the app crashes a Multiples times a night, sometimes multiple times an hour. These are used as video monitors for my babies, so this leaves a lot of anxiety for this mom. My iPhone seems to work better than the iPad, not sure if that matters. [12/23 Update, both iPhone 7+ and iPad mini (new) nest app crash or freeze spinning. Still waiting for nest to figure this out, it’s taking forever. Don’t buy this if you’re trying to use as baby monitors, completely unreliable] i hope Nest reads this and gets this resolved ASAP. At this route i will have to go buy another true video monitor so i can sleep knowing i will see and hear them 100% of the time. ? update, the app continues to crash repeatedly throughout the night and it doesn’t move. We have strong WiFi connectivity in the house. Extremely disappointed in Nest and the app. Notifications still work but not the monitor. It full on crashes and goes to the home screen, or says “try again” to connect to the network. Super disappointed. Fix it NEST!

First, I love Nest. It makes it a lot easier to check on my house with the camera and also regulate temperatures. However, say I want my temp at cool-70 and heat-73. I can change it but after about an hour it reverts back to 68-70. It is aggravating. Also, whenever I try to log in to check the camera, the app always tells me the camera is offline for 10 minutes or it just won’t access the camera and I have to restart my phone to get it to work. A couple things to work out, but I am satisfied with the other devices in themselves.

Constantly losing the ability to talk to my thermostat. Only way to fix it is to reinstall the app. Has to do it for about once every two to three weeks.

Installing nest aware is confusing. Unable to complete installation. According to help I already have the app free. Searching help explains the product great bot OFFERS NO SOLUTION. AS IS IN MIST SEARCHES ON THE PAGE. Not user friendly at all

Won’t adjust temperature

I downloaded hoping to be able to manage my newly installed thermostat from my iPhone. It won’t work. I ended up bookmarking the login page from their website in order to properly manage the thermostat from my phone. Going through my browser isn’t ideal, but it works since the app doesn’t. Not a useful app.

The app is not very useful. Worked maybe one hour and now I see my device is Offline. I did the troubleshoot- restarted the device, restarted the router, checked the signal strength, PING and battery- everything is good. However App is still showing my device as offline. I uninstalled the app then installed again..... nothing is helping.... I do not recommend this product- look for the thermostat with better app

This app worked wonderfully for over a year. Since I upgraded to the iPhone X, it hasn’t worked at all, other than being able to see what the temp is in my home. It doesn’t allow me to regulate the temperature at all, which is frustrating. Nest team, please repair this app to full functionality. Thank you.

Where’s the iPhone X support? The app does not register when I leave: isn’t that one of the key features/drives of the thermostat? I am not seeing temp or displays inside my August app: is that your issue or theirs? I also am not seeing as many alerts as I’d like, keeping me updated on the home’s status and any changes.
